I have to wonder if you've even paying attention to anything that's been happening the last 5 months? Remarkable.
Yeah, I mean there is no way in hell that Biden can handle this worse than Trump. Sometimes I wander into this thread and wonder if I've entered some sort of bizarro world.

Are they still laughing?
In the 2020s.... such a possibility isn't humorous.
I love how you guys are talking as if we're currently at some sort of normal baseline with a president who isn't incompetent on almost every level imaginable.
Correct again. I mean the guy advocated drinking bleach/disinfectant as a possible way to kill the coronavirus. Pence and Biden would be a step up from Trump.

I mean, masks work. We're past this. They work, the president reluctantly wore one in public (twice I think). There shouldn't be a controversy over it, and if your just gonna google stuff about it rather than think "Hmmmmm, if I go into a McDonalds, and have a mask on, do I reduce my chances of catching this any?" or if you think we should just reopen everything and have concerts and schools & NBA games and football and goto movies and roller coasters and be back to normal then, geeez. Find other websites to read. You're getting bad intel.
Bingo. Other countries with less wealth seem to have handled/curbed the spread of this a lot better than we have. Cases are STILL INCREASING in this country while most other countries they seem to have stabilized. Not real difficult to understand why.
Of course for some here, it is.

Ashame about Herman Cain. RIP
I just don’t see it. Trump stepping down it’s just not in the cards in my opinion.
Yeah, his ego can't take it. It's far easier for him to lose to Biden and claim some bullshit conspiracy. Step down now and he looks like a loser.

I'm not sure how involved Axl was
The fact that a drunk Slash was running to Axl's house in the middle of the night begging forgiveness is a fairly good indicator that Axl wasn't out of the loop.
Speaking of being out of loops, interesting that this was his claim about both the 2001 attempt at putting together a tour and the 2002 fiasco.
Various people attempting to get Axl to move forward in two crucial years without his knowledge initially?
Why on Earth would they do that? Was it because they were worried about their own position, livelihood, etc if a tophat wearing, cigarette smoking mofo comes back into the fold?
2004 or 2005 the feud was still pretty intense and I agree that there was no way he was out of the "loop."
Oh, I had totally forgotten about those lame excuses for 2001 and 2002 tours. Amateur hour at it's best. It doesn't even make any logical sense. Mr detailed and controlling and meticulous Axl Rose had tours booked without his knowledge? LOL.

You're a prick...never...ever forget that....prick...
Its such a dumb argument I've seen already.
In a nutshell:
50,000 people tested, 500 deaths.
100,000 people tested, 700 deaths.See, less people are dying from it!! Whoo-hoooo.
Uhm, no, more people are dying from it.
Nuhh-uhhh, 700 is only .0007% percentile, whereas before it was .001%
Yes, but 700 is more than 500.
They are not even dividing by the correct numbers anyway.
It should be dead/people infected. Which should equal 4.5% or whatever.
But you have these idiots claiming the death rate is 0.004 or some crappy inaccurate number.

The Stones had a thing about wanting major acts as openers. How much more major can you get than a reunited GNR? The last shows of the original band were opening for the Stones(Farm Aid excluded).
I wasn't surprised that went tits up. CD era GNR wasn't the same and no surprise that the Stones had no interest in that.
Wasn't the infamous drunken Slash visit to Axl's house around 2005 or 2006 as well.
Yes. Slash goes to Axls house.... supposedly Axl won't see him....so he whines to Beta about how Duff is spineless and Axl is stronger.
Me thinks this was a desperate attempt by Slash to get the reunion back on track.
There might have even been an attempt to get something going in 2002 but that also blew up. He did nothing on that tour but rant about ex members and clearly didn't want to be there.
I'm kinda interested in what the hell was the sticking point in 2005/2006 that caused them basically to go their own seperate ways for close to 10 years before finally reuniting. Must have been about the partnership agreement/ and the name.
#727 Re: Guns N' Roses » Matt Sorum's book leaks online. » 307 weeks ago
I also agree that we didn't get the real story on the hotel meetup.
I'll also go to my grave saying we were supposed to get the reunion in 2005-06 but it blew up in their faces....and we got a quick batch of leaks and CD tour round two in its place.
I also think a reunion was quietly considered behind the scenes in 2001. In that timeframe we got Axl saying Slash could appear on a few songs if he apologized and his odd attempt to get Izzy to join before Rio.
I also don't think we got the full story on Slash going to the Vegas show with the hangers on tossing him out.
If they ever reveal the whole truth and nothing but the truth..... we'll find out he tried getting the old band back together more than he tried getting the album out.....
That last part is both sad and funny to me.
Wasn't the infamous drunken Slash visit to Axl's house around 2005 or 2006 as well?

Yup. Most corrupt administration ever. He can’t even claim he doesn’t know the guy as this NY Attorney was part of Trumps’ transition team and donated to his 2016 election.
Donald Trump has done the impossible really, he makes you almost pine for the GW Bush days (just going on past Republican presidents)

Maybe you two could team up and be a jobber Tag team. Or is he the one that committed suicide?
I think it was Reid Flair that committed suicide. The WWE shamelessly brought that back in an angle a few years ago.
Also, I went to a live event like a few years ago and it was really fun. You get none of the BS of the Raws and Smackdown. Plus the crowd level of enthusiasm is always fun. And it's interesting to watch it live vs on TV.

Lot of stuff I want to say here. I'll defend the Undertaker's wrestlemania match from this past April. In his case, he really shouldn't STILL be wrestling, so the cheesy cinematic match worked fine in his case and shouldn't be really criticized.
McMahon isn't really business savvy in fact he's somewhat of a shady crook. They just outlasted WCW which had horrible management and had no idea what to do, even when they were beating WWE. Oh, on the XFL thing, when it folded the league made a huge payment to WWE while stiffing the rest of the people, like Oliver Luck (Andrew's dad), who is now suing WWE on wrongful termination grounds.
They are profitable this year due to the Saudi deal, that's one of the big factors. They don't care that the Saudis are a morally bankrupt goverment, as long as they pay out.
Yeah, Vince wants to get out of the pigeonhole of the wrestling guy. Which is why he attempted to get into movies and other things. But at the end of the day he is still a carny.
The matches today suck...which is kind of ironic since the athletic talent level has been higher than it's ever been. But their matches are all the same. WWE would be better off if Vince DIDN'T still so much time into the creative level of the shows. He's still a workaholic (to his credit) but I wonder how many great ideas over the years that have been vetoed by him.
