Nobody is for treating legal immigrants poorly mitch.  Some people just like following the rules/laws.  Dont like the rules?  Change them. Wrongly accusing people of hating immigrants is just feeding them further, not guilting them into caving like you guys hoped.

Nope, but most of them are smart enough to keep it once they have it.  Like usual you're not understanding the point, but that's the norm for you.

This is the shit I was referring to earlier. You’re all at each other’s throats with snippy and snide comments that frankly there’s no need for.

If you all refrained a bit and dialled it back a few notches from 11 I reckon the conversation would be a lot better.

... also no Trump supporter/apologiser has explained why he isn’t compromised despite clear evidence that he is. Once again if he thinks tapes exist, regardless of whether they exist or not, surely that makes him “blackmailable” and therefore compromises?

You sort of tip your hand when you choose my post to quote, then later use Trump supporter/apologist.  Kind of telling of the perspective you're coming from.  Regardless, there are a lot of posts here much nicer than what you see from the general public.   I'd say we're not so bad.

Also every politician is in someone's pocket.  Dont kid yourself.   They are all compromised as none of them are for the people...they are only for the party.

Logged in just to say hi to James...glad to see you're okay (relatively speaking).

Except for the fact that she didn't rescue the north.  Details...

#755 Re: The Sunset Strip » HBO's A Game of Thrones » 367 weeks ago

I need to watch it again.   I feel like I missed half of it in darkness, though I realize most of what I missed didn't matter.  The most shocking thing on the first watch was who didn't die.

Parts of it dragged and the ending was too quick.  They could have evened things out a bit.  Still there were some really good character moments.  I'm a little worried about the pace of the next 2 episodes.

If I was a northerner that survived that somehow,  I'm done.  Fuck Cersei.  I'll just stay north and protect myself.

The rich aren't rich because they are dumb.  The people really in power (not the politicians) aren't the ones in power because they are dumb.  You do nothing but complain about how bad things are, but your solution is always to count on other dumb people to solve the problem for you.  Which one of us is dreaming?

You're a one trick pony. We get it.

But you're wrong here.

This isn't "both sides", this is one of the most corrupt presidents in our lifetime. He attacks our allies. He's a national security threat. He coddles and admires dictators. He's a pathological liar. He's a racist.  He's under various ongoing criminal investigations. He's a threat to our democratic ideals. A threat to free speech. His communications with Russia so alarming, that our allies notified our intelligence communities about it. A tax cheat. He's obstructed justice according to the Mueller report. But most of all, he's a traitor to this country.

But yea sure "both sides." roll

Yep, and you're way too focused on half of the problem to see the other half.

By the way, every single thing you said he is is just an opinion. You guys throw out all these accusations as though they are facts.  Spokes on the wheel...

I'll never see it, so go ahead.  Might make some heads explode though.
