Part III (3-D) for Friday the 13th. And James, I'm surprised you didn't start your list at 1931's Frankenstein, one of the greatest horror movies of all time. In fact, A4L2.0, I strongly advise you not skip over Universal's (and others) "Golden Age" or horror.

I like both better than AFD, but for the record think UYI I is the stronger half.

A road music list without any Zombie is bullshit. Bull. Shit.

I don't know that this is really GN'R related beyond that we've been speculating about an unconfirmed exclusivity deal with Best Buy. Interesting nonetheless.

A thread for Howling II: ...Your Sister Is a Werewolf? Axlin08, you continue to impress. This one's a classic. Also see its immediate sequel, Howling III: The Marsupials.

That's a good thing, because in my opinion, of the leaks we've heard, the drums are what need the most work and are generally what keep those tracks from sounding like totally finished mixed. How GN'R is dropping the ball on this promotion so badly I'll never quite understand. I thought at least Azoff would have the media all over this. This actually has LESS fanfare than Oh My God.

Read about this when news hit this morning. Very fucking exciting.

Let the speculations begin and watch as rumors turn into fact (kind of) as Harold Ramis responds to this past weeks monster Ghostbusters 3 announcement over at the Chicago Tribune. Inside you can read about the possibilities of Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson all returning, along with Sony's hopes to bring in the Apatow crew.

Ramis tells the Chicago Tribune:

"yes, columbia is developing a script for GB3 with my year one writing partners, gene stupnitsky and lee eisenberg. judd apatow is co-producing year one and has made several other films for sony, so of course the studio is hoping to tap into some of the same acting talent. aykroyd, ivan reitman and i are consulting at this point, and according to dan, bill murray is willing to be involved on some level. he did record his dialogue for the new ghostbusters video game, as did danny and i, and ernie hudson. the concept is that the old ghostbusters would appear in the film in some mentor capacity. not much else to say at this point. everyone is confident a decent script can be written and i guess we'll take it from there.
best,
harold"

There you have it, word straight for the horses mouth. Hopefully the internet and fan base can help keep the heavy buzz alive or at least strong enough to get all four to return.
