Yeah. VERY interesting theory:
Barr quotes Mueller: “[T]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”
— Elie Honig (@eliehonig) April 14, 2019
Barr omitted first part of that sentence. Want to bet it starts with “Although”?

Who is Elie Honig? I ask for reasons that have nothing to do with this tweet...I used to play fantasy baseball with a guy with that name and I think he was in law school at the time.
At the end of the day, the rest of it really doesn't matter. If in 2 years they couldn't conclusively link the campaign to Russia despite all the supposed evidence and plea deals, they have nothing. If they thought they might get something, they'd keep going. At some point you just have to accept Trump is either way smarter than any of you want to give him credit for because he's managed to cover his tracks better than anyone in the history of the world or he actually didn't do anything.

Ideally I'd love to see everyone in office not only have to release their tax returns, but also have to account for every penny of income while they've been in office. A lot more people come out of politics rich than go into it, yet nobody ever looks in to why that is. Anything that will show the mitch's of the world that the politicians they love are every bit as shady as the Don is.

Charlie Sheen was "winning" for a long time too. Things didn't end well for him. Don is sleazy for sure, but so are all politicians so it's an interesting situation.

^^ Similar to the JFK conspiracies. The coverup was due to 'National Security'. Plus, they know Trump would go apeshit if he was indicted and recommend to his loyal supporters to begin rioting. It'll be better for the country to just ease him out of office somehow.
You know, it is possible that he didn't collude. It seems that some of you are so deep that you've made conclusions based on what your media has told you instead of waiting for the facts and when reports of what the facts are, you are already making excuses as to why the facts must be wrong.
Trump is a turd. I agree 100%. He's shady as well. I don't know anyone that doesn't believe that on some level in their heart of hearts. It's a long stretch though to go from that to conspiring with Russia of all people to rig the election. All the digging, all the interviews, all the everything for the past 2 years and they got nothing. Still doesn't mean he didn't do it, who knows; but if he did do it and managed to somehow keep this from all the investigating by the gov't and the media prying, and all of the indictments of his supposed partners in crime, he's a hell of a lot smarter than any of you want to give him credit for.
This isn't the sixties. It's a lot harder to get away with things these days...doesn't mean it's not possible, but there are eyes and mouths everywhere.

The investigation gets that heated, that much attention and they decide to let him off on a technicality? Come on. Don't grasp for straws when you don't even know if you have to or not.

Since you didn't answer the last question, I'll try a different one: Do you understand what tariffs are and why they are used?
Easier question: Did you even read the article? I don't think you understand what is going on, why it's going on, what it's meant to do, and what it's actually done so far. I think you see headline you think makes Trump look bad so you post it without any regard to the contents or point of the article.
I'll be in Chicago over the weekend for my best friend's wedding. I look forward to whatever dismissive post you choose to make in response to this when I return...or no post at all. Either way I am sure it will have the same amount of useful thoughts and information.

How were you able to post this if banned? Not being snarky or anything, just curious.
You log in on another device or you can do some duping of IPs if you know enough about technology.

I never thought there’d be impeachment or indictment, I just wanted to point out the report does not “totally exonerate” Trump like we’re going to hear. It doesn’t.
Two plus years of digging at everything and they're no closer to proving he was involved in anything than when they started. If there was more digging to do, don't you think they'd keep digging?
Trump is sleazy and I'm sure he's had shady business deals, but that's a far stretch from what the people that hate him have been claiming for years. It was a witch hunt for sure. He's no more in with the Russians than the Clintons are. Take that for what it's worth.

Mitch - answer me this: Do you think the Democrats care about cheating when it's in their favor? And don't even try to claim they don't cheat, just answer the question for once.

Welp, no indictments or collusion... Mueller case is closed. Now we really focus on MAGA.
I'll withhold judgment until the findings are actually reported, but it certainly looks that way. All of the indictments make it look that way too. All that time and money wasted on nothing would be a huge blow to the Dems. They were so sure they were going to find something; there's no way they are going to back off of that regardless of what the report says. That's the unfortunate truth.
