I'm not talking about his cover of bucket's solo....i'm talking about the fill lines in the chorus (before and after the solo)
Watch here from 1.13 - 1:40 to hear the part played by Huge:
then watch fortus' interpertation of it:
White credit goes to huge for inventing it, I think richard's version is a lot cooler.

i never will understand why some of you guys think its so bad to do interviews
like for me, if its something that i'm interested in, i enjoy reading things that people have to say
I agree. But it seems people in GNR cycles don't like it. Slash is bashed for being friendly to the media, and Baz was copping a lot of abuse for his Angel Down interviews.
Its not selling out or being a whore, it's doing their job, they work in the entertainment industry, and part of that means promoting and talking about their product.

Fortus is cool in my book. I love what he added to maddy (the sustain over the guitar parts) and he's got some definate skills.

Yeah its different for different folks...some people have more sensitve ears than others...but I do find if you plan to ever plug your ipod into a dock or a stereo or anything with normal speakers then setting a high bit rate will improve the quality drasticly.
It depends on useage I guess, like if u only ever listen while running or on a train where there is a lot of spill noise anyway then you might not mind loss, but if you listen just for pleasure at times, and get in the habbit of using the pod as a database for all your muisc then a higher rate is a good idea.
I personaly don't like anything below 256kps. Another option is to go lossless and use apple's lossless compression audio codec in itunes. this gives you full lossless CD quality sound like WAV but at smaller files sizes...(although still massive compared to mp3).

My tip....Make sure you set the ripping settings to a decent quality before uploading your cds

I don't understand the need to take sides.
Both Axl and Slash are phenomenal musicans who upon their death will be remembered as amongst the most talented rock musicans to have lived. They've both given a lot to music as an art, and with any luck will continue to do so.
When dealing with the disintegration of a friendship and business partnership it's obvious both sides would have strong emotions, and when asked endlessly by a media hungry for gossip and drama about the other, it's only a matter of time before either of them say something unplesent.
That we can find incidents where Slash or Axl have said this kind of thing after 15 years of questions doesn't surprise me - or prove anything other than that their friendship still has its problems.
I think Slash is a kickass guitarist, and Axl is a kickass vocalist. That's all that matters to me.

Thank fuck GDT is in control and not PJ, I couldnt bare anymore of him fucking up characters and the story so he can squeeze in another action scene.
Interesting opinion....most fans of the novel i'd spoken too thought it was pretty faithful overall....is there a specific part?
#8029 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Slash Begins Recording for his Solo Album » 894 weeks ago
I just pray it shows slash's recent form.
It'd be good to for it to have some crossover style hits - but I hope one of them shows what Slash is capiable of. I know a lot of people here dont like him out side of GNR - but I do think solo wise he's done some beautiful stuff...like that solo in "Give in To Me" by Michael Jackson gave me chills back in the day...
Anyway...IMO slash's playing has returned to form in recent times....he was playing cool solo spots again on the last few VR shows (when he didnt seem to do much of it in the CB era) , that Hendrix Cover he did was mindblowing....and the playing is top notch with Alice Cooper.
I'm cool with the songs being modern radio friendly, but I do hope the guitar just goes balls out "this is what I can do motherfuckers"!
