I don't think this pandemic 'helps' Joe Biden in the least, but it's a good ad. I'd prefer he step down and if this resolves Cuomo take the nod.
That aside, this ad needs to be seen. We were not prepared for this & we should have been. We've known about this since New Years Day.
In times of crisis, American presidents have always stepped up to meet the moment. But all we've gotten from Donald Trump are lies, excuses, and scapegoats.

Yeah. There's positives, I think I heard Italy's deaths or new cases has gone down for 3 days in a row. NYC the hospitalization 'doubling rate' (days until new visits doubles) has gone from something like 3.5 days, to 4.5 days, to like 7 days, which also shows the lockdowns have had a positive effects. Problem is you can't just open the floodgates anytime soon, because it'll bullet backwards.
Also, when does international travel get back to normal? Is that like a year away? Come July we can't just say 'Ok, lets all fly back & forth again'.
I had a mini vacation set for tomorrow
Was going to go to Miami for 4 or 5 days. Bye-bye vacation

Yeah. I do believe China in part, that its slowing down &/or no new cases. Granted, the had heavy, dictatorlike quarantines, but hopefully there's a way out of this, and it only takes 3-4 months. Maybe, now that we know this, we can do it a little shorter. Italy will kinda determine how it really goes for the rest of the world. If it doesn't get better there, it won't here.
USA too many areas aren't taking it seriously that it won't hit them for another 2-3 weeks, but when it does, it'll spread fast.

Totally surreal. Felt like the movie 28 Days Later (cant believe thats 17 years old btw).
I think this might be the end of malls, & strip clubs. Bars alone will have a tough time bouncing back. If they reopen June 1, would ppl really visit on a regular basis?
Do u think summer concerts still go on?

What pork? The fake meme that went around on the innernet saying Dems wanted abortion laws & green funding including that was proven false: https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2 … RRonaJvSdM
Fwiw, there is an oversight committee, and no companies owned by the President, nor the cabinet (Devos) can reap any benefits. I consider them pretty successful, and relevant wins for Americans as a whole.

U.S. axed CDC expert job in China months before virus outbreak
https://www.yahoo.com/news/exclusive-u- … 54983.html
But since last year, Frieden and others said, growing tensions between the Trump administration and China’s leadership have apparently damaged the collaboration.
“The message from the administration was, ‘Don’t work with China, they’re our rival,’” Frieden said.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
It is not a coincidence this occurred during the US' most anti-China president in recent history. Period. Trumps negligence is in part cause of such an outbreak, unless of course you believe it's a coincidence.

HW Bush brings up Fauci in 88 debates. Quite prophetic considering he singled him out 32 years ago

Wow. I'll be honest. I think it's here. I feel like 20-30% of the population probably has it, or will within 2 weeks. It's just that maybe it's less of a death sentence then we feared, like the early days of AIDS in the 80s. Seems people with underlying conditions are more susceptible (asthma, lung condition, illness) & it leads to pnuemonia or something. But just 'getting it' isn't too dire.
Seems the gov't is even shifting and saying do not get a test just because you feel sick, only get a test if you're in bad shape & save the tests for the ER.

We were not prepared for this
