Trump goes abroad and bashes our intelligence communities and former president. Fuck this guy. Seriously, fuck him and the losers who defend him.

Righties want to talk about anything other than Trump. Obama, Hillary, poor people getting home loans, personal responsibility, blacks shooting one another in Chicago (hardly the worst city btw, but they only are capable of repeating what their right wing media talking points tell them to), trannies...pretend UE numbers...you name it.

Anything but Trump.

No, even if you exclude the people not making an effort I'm pretty sure it's higher than that.

That's not how they calculate UE anyway, stupid.

And Obama wasn't "claiming it", the Department of Labor was/is "claiming it", stupid.

Suddenly though, highly educated economists, working for the bureau of labor statistics, who compile employment data and who have provided reports to our government for decades aren't reporting accurately. Yea...sure, stupid.

1) Dems never said that about their voters. It was rated "false" by snopes.

2) There goes pathological liar Flagg again. One story was retracted. And it was retracted because it didn't adhere to their standards (only one anonymous source was provided.) Doesn't mean jack shit at the end of the day. Unlike rightwing outlets, at least they pulled the story.

3) In the meantime, Trump finally admitted that Russia meddled in our election. On Twitter, like an idiot. Fox News is now saying that collusion isn't illegal, and nearly everybody, including Trump's own laywer...has retained lawyers. They know what lays ahead, unlike those in total denial of reality.

4) They've been investigating Bernie's wife and haven't found anything yet. Clearly, she's done nothing wrong...right? Isn't that what you pinheads say?

5) Mueller has put together a serious investigative team, and Carter has spent 10 hours without a lawyer present speaking to the FBI.

I think social media sucked away too many people to allow forums (especially small ones) to build back up.

GnR is a niche market online. The hardcores have essentially moved over to mygnr (and they are in the red every month.) There simply aren't enough people to spread around all these forums anymore.

Why would anybody new sign up to a forum, when all they have to do is click on a button to join a group on FB? Or follow somebody on Twitter?

Honestly I think the biggest draw to social media is self absorption and the "rewards" (likes). Many forums have incorporated this too, but it's not the same. Forums are more anonymous. FB is all about YOU the user. Your interests are secondary to YOU. Forums are about the topics first and you second (or third.)

Trump's personal lawyer has now retained his own lawyer.

#889 Re: The Garden » US Politics Thread » 465 weeks ago

Trump has run afoul of the law his entire life. He screws over workers, shafted business partners, taken part in money laundering, sexual harassment and so on. This was very clear and reported on heavily while he was running for president. But suddenly his supporters believe he must be getting a raw deal here. He's being railroaded.

What we're seeing is Trump being Trump.

The big difference now is that he can't just settle like a civil matter. He can't just BS his way out of this, or bully somebody to make them go away. It's not going work like that.

My goodness...all this talk about Hillary. The boogeyman is dead RF...why the fuck do you still get to play the Hillary card,?

She's as irrelevant as irrelevant can be but you conservatives keep bringing her up.

That's how I know you conservatives don't stand for shit...I mean you stand for literally nothing.

Not a single one of you can explain this gross inconsistency...why is it that when one person is under investigation, everything is valid and above board. But when another person is under investigation you cry and whine about the unfairness of political witch hunts. You then turn to scrutinize the evidence and come to the conclusion (before said investigation is complete) that it's all a lie based on nothing.

It's really time you repugnant, self-righteous conservatives come to terms with who you actually are...racist, sexist, willfully ignorant made in the USA pieces of American garbage.

Please...explain away why we're still talking about fucking Hillary and her closed but valid investigation. You conservatives will do anything to prevent having to look at yourself in the mirror.

I read an article yesterday about how Noam Chomsky believes that the modern day Republican Party is more dangerous than ISIS.

I'm inclined to agree.
