This Fortus interview?

Q: So Richard, you're currently playing in Guns N' Roses?
Fortus: I really can't talk about that.
Q: But you've already embarked on several world tours as a part of this lineup.
Fortus: That's not something I can talk about at this time.
Q: But this is a GN'R forum. You're utilizing a GN'R fan-based platform to talk about ... what exactly?
Fortus: Frank and I will be playing this really cool double-bill with Pisser and X-Japan. It's basically the most exciting thing of all time. Yes, Buckethead pwns me.

And so ... thank you.

As much as I'm not the world's biggest Paul W.S. Anderson fan (I'd be curious to meet that fan), I'm enough of a fan of the Roger Corman-produced original to be cautiously optimistic about this one. It's a rough and ready remake of a 70s exploitation flick. You can't really mess that one up methinks.

I didn't catch this trailer in front of Dark Knight. I've had it posted in my trailers thread, if anyone wants to check it out. I just put up Watchmen, too. I got Watchmen ahead of Dark Knight and that was balls to the wall badass.

After seeing the midnight screening at one of the biggest and best old movie houses a couple cities over, I'm going tentatively this Tuesday to catch it closer to home in a smaller, art-house theatre. Should be interesting to note the difference in experience, if there is any. God, I love this movie.

Well, I gave it a 10 when I got home.

Seriously?

That's a bold statement, and you have a pretty wide variety of taste in films.

Thanks. And James, I kid you not. I mean, you may see it for yourself and very well disagree with me. Maybe it's the Batman fan in me since childhood, but damn. This got it so right. Beyond just getting Batman right. This transcended its genre so completely, so compellingly. It was a masterpiece.

Holy. Shit.

The best comic book movie I've ever seen. One of the best movies I've ever seen. Period. Not just hype and not just fanboy bullshit. This thing's the real deal. See it. See it now.

Stupid list. Velvet Goldmine kicks ass.

Anyone let down by the ending of Crystal Skulls could only allow themselves to be let down by not having seen that ending coming. Anyone who didn't see that ending coming is a stupid piece of shit. Indiana Jones for the win (and still the man).

Shit, now I feel bad for even ripping it.
