How many showed up for the draft?

It's why I stopped participating years ago....half the time I missed it.

It was fun though although I preferred the pick em league we did back then.

I think we had more than half the teams present for the draft. 6 or 7 out of 10 I would guess. It was a crazy night for me so I didn’t track it exactly. I had another draft at 7:30 and that finished around 8:40. Then I tried to help put my daughter to bed before the next draft at 9. Life moves fast.

Yeah I was at work doing the live draft. Sorry if I held up at any points.

Sermon being inactive fucked me in two leagues today (including our league) awesome.

I have to go with my boy: Dennis Wilson.

The Beach Boys would never do Kokomo with him in the band.

They’d still be doing creative weird shit.

He’s the soul of the band. Carl’s the voice. Brian’s everything.

And yeah Otis Redding is such a big one.

I’ll add Buddy Holly up there too!

Skip's Song by Robert Plant (album: Dreamland)

I'm loving this song. Heard it first last year. Going to dive into Moby Grape, and Skip Spence.

The great thing about baseball is there are those old gems still left.

Sadly, I never got to go to Tigers Stadium or Yankee Stadium (the og).

I've been to Wrigley and Fenway. I don't know which one I prefer. Both cities are phenomenal. The ghosts of the past in both though.

#88 Re: The Sunset Strip » Charlie Watts Dead at 80 » 237 weeks ago

Yeah this came up on my phone early. Thanks BBC for the bad news.

Steve Jordan is a very capable drummer. Really good.

I saw them at Sars Stock in 2003 in Toronto. Had to leave early as I lost part of my group.

So it sucks Charlie's gone.

My guess is they'll continue on.

It would be nice if they brought back Mick Taylor again.

Sad day.

Watts is a legend.

Just too much money to be made to not tour.

And Jagger is in shape. This is like also a lifestyle / health thing for him.

I know his father lived until 93. So he's got decent genes.

Anyhow, I mean in an ideal world they would stop the band. But, bands just continue on. Like the Beach Boys should have stopped in 1983 after Dennis Wilson died. They didn't. After, Carl Wilson died in 1998, they kept it going.

I'll buy this single.

I'm excited if they're pressing it.

That's good.

I love 45s.

I remember getting into Mudcrutch listening to Trailer. That was so good.

And one day discovering Mother And Child Reunion by Paul Simon. Never heard it until a few years back (I know). So hearing it on a 45. Man I like it.
