For my taste, I thought most of bumble's additions actually improved the songs - the final mixes were messy on the album from a mixing standpoint - but musically - the CD riff was cooler with additions, his Riad solo was much better than the leak with Robin, I like his IRS outro.
I'd love to hear some unreleased songs with Ron on them.

I could care less about slight variations of already released songs. I came here to this board many moons ago when new songs leaked and other than NEW music, I seriously don't understand the hype this shit gets.
I'm not that extreme but i do feel your POV.
The exception for me I'm interested in the TIL remix because it has new vocals that sound like they really give a different feel to the track.
But beyond that - it's new songs I want to hear - playing around with the 14 songs we already got on CD - one with an older guitar part - one with slightly different drums etc is fun from an academic standpoint to learn about music production and how different arrangements can alter a song - but I already feel that between the 2001 live versions, the 2002 live versions, the 2006 live versions, the 2009-12 live versions, and the 2016-2017 live versions - the 2006 leaks and the 2008 album - we've already milked these songs to death.
I'll take a professionally produced remix or a remaster or something if it comes out but beyond that - i'm at the stage where I can accept the CD as it was.
What I'd like are these other lost parts of Axl's creativity - the unreleased songs. Silkworms, Jackie Chan etc. Those to me are a lot more interesting than minor variations on stuff that we already have. As I said - TIL being the exception due to that insane vocal track!

Not to inspire hope in anyone - but this seems a random time to do this - in the middle of the reunion - I wonder if it means the CD remixes will still oneday happen and it's not entirely binned?

It could be real or fan made really. That's the fun of 2000era GNR - That guitar sound is just amateur enough that it could be one of us, or like a bedroom-best friend promoted to rhythm guitarist or a circus guitarist hired to replace slash 
Assuming it's real for a moment - the notable part to me is the absence of fortus - the changes he made replacing paul's parts live were quite noticeable and also stand out on the record because of the sustaining pickups he uses.
Walker any chance of This I Love? Pretty please.

Don't take this as an insult to Walker cos I don't mean it that way....
But it just crossed my mind - the entire album rock band stems have been available for years and everyone has them. A lot of GNR fans are musicians themselves. At this stage - what's to say any of these are actually old versions and not just fans playing around with the stems and adding in different bass and chords themselves and stuff. Not hard to mute a drum track here and there or over dub a bit of guitar.
Anyway, I guess that list is cool stuff, although personally i'd be way more interested in either unheard tracks or the Brain era remixes. I feel like most of this stuff I could just make myself lol.

If Azoff was manager there would be an album out. You can't tell me the label doesn't want it. Established bands still sell a shit ton of records. He was just negotiating with them not long ago for the second album. How the fuck can you screw up this kind of negotiation? You're literally sitting on an album ready to go. He's said more than once Slash and Duff dig the material. MSL has said Slash has rerecorded at least Atlas. I honestly don't get the issue.

It's looking like this whole 3 year reunion tour will go without an album. So you'd assume from a marketing perspective at least 6-months to a year off before launching any new product assuming they actually want to....This makes me think we're looking at late 2019. Maybe even longer if they do an Ac/Dc cycle first. Like what would that be - an album and a year tour at least you'd think. Mind you i'd dig an axl dc record too.
I just feel like it's looking like next year will be like this one - random shows - I hope i'm wrong - it's getting really insane how long stuff takes.
I mean years ago I was down with it, but like they're all not getting any younger. The time to do stuff is now.

I like Brain over Frank...but Matt was the guy that really had chemistry with Slash and Duff.

They're not hurting for material just the gumption to do it.
totally agree. I was just thinking after a world tour with multi legs like this you'd expect a break first to let the market cool.
So i'd expect a pause of some type, then the new album to base another global tour around.
I mean i hope i'm wrong. I'd love them to drop a release in Jan and make next years shows about that - but seems unlikely given they just did 2 years of touring including 2 big USA legs.
So i'd assume it's a case of this tour ends, then a wait time, then a new tour with a record or maybe a GH and new single. The question to me is will the next project be the release of that or do we get a Conspitors/AcDC cycle first.

Hmm...
So GNR in the middle of the year.
The question is does Axl/Dc and Conspirators happen around this - or is it like a few months off first - then this stuff - in which case those projects are more like 2019.
I could be wrong but I would assume GNR new music would happen, AFTER this tour, and AFTER Ac/Dc and Myles next cycle....so yeah...it's going to be a little while to say the least....
