This is one time I am going to side with the player. Pay Plax now dammit! And I believe they will. He played all of last year, basically on one leg and was still dominate. They'll take care of him.
Now Shockey is another story...

If we get a reunion before CD, you can kiss CD goodbye. It'll never see the light of day.

If this ever happens, I think I will have died and gone to Heaven....

Yeah thats about right. That has to be the worst coaching situation in the NFL, other than maybe Oakland. Wade Phillips has to be looking over his shoulder constantly. This is a make or break season for him. If they go 13-3 again, and dont win any playoff games, I believe Jerry will fire him.
But I am not sure that they are the best team in the NFC. I dont think they are better than the Giants. I think they are the top two teams in the NFC, but it is tough to say which is best. I'll go with the defending champs!

You guys are cracking me up with the Dallas talk!
But really, Dallas is a talented team. They will definatly contend next year, but the question is, can they win in the playoffs. They havent won a playoff game in 10 years. That will hang on Romo until they win one. And Dallas is certainly in a win now mode, as evidenced by the massive contracts handed out recently.

No way this KISS 2 ever becomes anything more than the one time opener for the next KISS tour & probably 1 poorly selling album (a la Rockstar Supernova). I could care less about a KISS cover band, I'll probably watch the show, because I like the band audition setup & watched Rockstar, but the band will be nothing more than a possible touring tribute band with no known originals.
Yeah, it just seems that sometimes they take the dumbest ideas and think it is brilliant!
Anyone remember the second Monkees band that came out in the 80s that didnt have any of Mickey, Mike, Peter, or Davey in it? Or am I the only who remembers that?
I remember The Monkees coming back with everyone other then Mike once near the beginning or middle of the 80s. I didn't know they tried to launch them again with no members at all. How stupid.
Just went and got this off Wiki after being intrigued:
In 1986, Raybert Productions (now known as Straybert Productions) tried to capitalize on the revival by filming a new television series called The New Monkees. Four young musicians were placed in a similar series based on the original show, but "updated" for the 1980s. The show, its accompanying album, and the New Monkees themselves all sank without a trace.
Thats it! Good job on finding that.

No this is different than before. The potential to have all new members and sold as KISS is much different than releasing dolls, lunchboxes, etc. That stuff I have no problem with. In fact, I love it.
And no they werent commercial from the start. They really jumped into the commercial world in 1976 with the comic book with their blood in the red ink, well after their sixth album. Again, they were and are vastly underrated musically.

Ashame, he was a great player for so many years, but it is time. What better way to leave than the SB victory they just had?!
Yep it probably was time. He still could have gone another year and been one of the best Defensive Ends in the game, but what better way to go out, than on top.
Jon Runyan had some really nice comments about him, which was nice to hear, since they were huge rivals and all.

PAUL STANLEY SETS RECORD STRAIGHT
Amid the numerous reports stemming from an interview done in Norway, Paul Stanley has decided to set the record straight regarding a KISS clone reality TV show.
Statement from Paul:
A KISS clone reality show? First of all, contrary to what was said by anyone, there is no signed deal. Secondly, if we were to do a "KISS II", and I don't rule that out, it would be in addition to, and never in place of KISS. If we were to do it, I know it would be done in a ground breaking way and would be tremendously entertaining. KISS has always defined itself by the rules we break, so what's the big surprise? We are in the middle of our biggest and most successful tour of Europe ever, playing to over a half million people, and neither KISS or I have any plans to stop afterwards!
Paul's response is already at the bottom of the original post.
Ahh I see, guess I should have read it to the end!
I am as big of a KISS fan as you will find, but its things like this that do tick me off. I know some people hate them, and would laugh if you put the words "KISS" and "legacy" in the same sentence, but this type of thing is going to hurt their legacy.
Great band, very very underrated as musicians and song writers, but this crap needs to stop.
