Garbage is still garbage though.  Even with Slash it's unlistenable.  I saw 5 live shows and went to the bathroom every single time TIL came on.  The songs outside of TWAT,  Better, and CD minus the hour long intro just aren't good.

It's pretty clear to me...people who did little to no research believed in a character that was created on a reality TV show. No one ever talks about how down in the doldrums Trump was in the 90s...

It's nothing but a bunch of people who stand for very little but love to watch him rant and rave...because deep down inside, it makes the Trump support feel like he matters...every time Trump throws a tantrum, it makes his supporter feel like he matters.

It's not impressive...what got him elected....it's just saying whatever you want, when you want and not expecting consequences for that...

If you really believe that, you're going to be disappointed in 2020 as well.  I didn't vote for him.  I won't vote for him in 2020.  If you're naive enough to think the only people that did vote for him were stupid people that love seeing him throw an tantrum, you've learned nothing over the past 2 years.

It's political suicide for a republican to propose stricter gun laws, but they can certainly support something reasonable that isn't going to alienate their base.  But that's where the problem lies...stricter gun control won't stop things like this.  Both sides know it.  The democrats are trying to leverage these into stricter gun laws because they believe in that anyway, not because they think it will do anything.  ID's post just proves that...they could have had something, but knowing it didn't matter they pitched a fit.  They want it all, but they're never going to get it because there are too many gun nuts will never give up their guns regardless of the laws.  We'll have civil war or secession before we have guns outlawed at any level significant enough to matter.

Nowhere in any of those posts do I see anything even resembling a solution...

The problem isn't the gun.  Until you figure that out, this will continue to happen and people will repeat the same talking points over and over without accomplishing anything.

I'm still waiting for someone to come up with a suggestion that isn't more gun control.  That won't work to slow these down and they all know it, but because it fits their larger agenda, they keep pushing it instead of trying to come up with something that might actually work.

Personally I don't think there is a solution, but someone out there much smarter than me must be able to come up with something tangible that won't infringe on people's rights.  On CNN today they were willing to infringe not only on second amendment rights, but they wanted to start arresting people that said something or posted something on social media that even implied a threat (it's like they wanted a real-life Minority Report).  I don't know why they always mention these non-starters instead of thinking outside the box on ideas that could make an actual difference.

Sure he can.  There are almost 900 pages of him doing exactly that in this thread.

I've always thought so, but I figured it was because I was close enough to Slash that he could have fallen on me.

I would probably drop a grand on a UYI box set, but AFD isn't even in my top 10 albums.  While AFD got me into GnR, UYI was the album that spoke to me.  Even the "filler" I can appreciate for what it is instead of picking it apart for what it isn't.  Musically to my ears those albums are pure gold.

Guessing a remastered or bonus version of AFD, but hoping for something more.  Maybe the AFD5 playing the whole album?  It certainly hints at the full band doing something.
