As for his seldom played new songs - he busted out Snakepit's Been There lately and Speed Parade (underrated track), and Promise off his solo album. I think Patience might be a new addition to his set too.

Nice to see some Snakepit2 love from slash.

Would love to see Speed Parade live with the new band...

Shame we don't get more love for snakepit1 - he does a Beggers&Hangers on - but I'd love to see Soma City Ward or Dime Store Rock make a comeback!

Got to give slash, between AFD,UYI, the 2 snakepit Records, and the 2 VR records and the solo album he's got a fairly bad ass selection of stuff to choose from these days. So many awesome set list possibilities.

Damn, some of those notes from Slash throughout Promise were way off, but still, a pretty good first attempt. Especially from Myles, his higher range did quite well here

A pretty cool site, showing the breakdown of songs played by Slash, and other artists of course.  But for discussions sake.

Nice set!! Gotta respect him for not playing it safe and pulling out songs from all his albums, not just his most famous one.

Slash played T in The Park last week, Scotlands biggest festival. A lot of the performances were broadcast live on TV but Slash just appeared in a highlight show, I was suprised and pleased they chose to broadcast Meanbone instead of one of his more famous songs.

Wasnt there a time before VR that Del, Fernando and mabye Axl were less than complimentary about Slash's post Guns work? Its getting to the stage now where Slash is leaving Axl trailing in his dust, for good or bad he has been consistantly releasing new music and in 2011 the guy is probably as popular now as when he was in GNR.
