That's exactly why i'm leaving the board untill those that are butthurt by Axl not showing to the HoF ceremony stop their revenge against the ones who doesn't see it as badly.

Really, Guns N' Roses today and so on to the future is what Axl wants it to be. Accept it or leave it. I mean, it's been this way for the past 18 years? If you don't accept it don't direct your anger to those who do (or embrace or enjoy or not).

This may be the worst post in the history of this board.  First of all, the people coming off as butthurt right now are the ones mad that they are playing.

Secondly, This is celebrating what GnR was, not what GnR is.  It doesn't really matter what Axl wants in regards to this...the HoF made that crystal clear.

If this is an example of your contribution, then I say good riddence to you.  We're better off without you.  Most of us have coexisted long before you came along and long before this site even existed.  yes, we argue with each other from time to time, but it's very rare for long time members to go after each other.  There's a reason for that.

I don't get your point, really. And I wasn't talking about you, you just had to make a point about it, so ok... But what was it?

So what GnR was didin't include Axl? ok... I've posted a lot about what GnR todays mean to me and my thoughts about Axl and you'd be surprised if you'd take the time to read, that I don't blindly support Axl.

My point is that everybody who understands or agrees with Axl is being attacked. It's like HTGTH times -1. I think Myles should be nowhere near Gn'R induction because he doesn't have ANYTHING to do with GnR.

It would be a whole different scenario if they invited a really special guest on this, being it Fergie or Billie Joe or WHOEVER that doesn't relate to any current project of any member of Gn'R. THAT'S MY SECOND POINT.

Another thing is: why is Slash allowed to bring his current members to GnR induction and why isn't Axl allowed to do the same? Double standards of the hoF? perhaps, we'll never know but it doesn't seem right to me.

I have no problem with the guys performing, I just wish it was REALLY a celebration of the past, but once you involve current members, it gets different.

And seriously, you're nobody to tell me to leave. I'm not a member of this board because of you and I won't leave because of you.

Unless you have the power to ban me, you're nobody to make this call. And if you have such powers, be my guest. I'm sure you'll feel really good doing it.

I think Gilby/Izzy and Duff could share duties singing pretty well but if YOU SAY that it doesn't have anything to do with promoting Slash with Myles Kennedy, then ok. You should know better, right?

You're the one promoting it.

There's no way in hell Duff, Izzy, or Gilby can sing any of the higher GnR tunes better than Myles, and I don't even like Myles.

Steven adler would sound alright on lead vocals singing Sweet child 9

That would rock harder than Sheryl Crow doing it! 16

ha, yeah. They both suck, although the bigger offender to me personally is Myles. Brownstone is my favorite GN'R song and he fucking ruins it. As bad as Axl is today, he can still sing the lower note songs fairly well (Brownstone, ISE, etc.).

Agreed, plus I'll cut Axl some extra slack since he did write and record the songs...and he's a geezer.

It's a shame because Slash is playing so well right now and I can't stand to listen to a lot of it.  17

I edited my original post with more clearance of what I think. If you can read, perhaps you can understand where I'm coming from.

I don't care enough to go back and read.  If your clarification was you are staying, great.  I look forward to positive contributions from you.  If your clarification was they shouldn't play without Axl, I disagree, but understand why you feel that way.  If it was something else, it's probably not that important.  5

Yeah, Slash sounds great. That sample sounds better than the guitar parts in You're A Lie. Myles doesn't sound too good on either track though. I enjoyed Myles' singing on Starlight, but most of the time his voice is annoying.
