Oh, not very high, I pretty much only casually play 25c/50c or 1/2 if i'm feeling frisky.  I may only have 200-300 k of hands, just do it for fun.  Since Black Friday, I find that the sites are quite different, and I haven't been playing much.  I have went to Vegas a couple of times in the last year to play 2/5 and some small buy in tourneys, I enjoy them more.

Online poker is pretty dead after they shut out USA, France and Italy.

With the rake there just isn't enough money to be made any more. 95% of players pretty much know what they're doing.

Pretty much this.

Anyways, it's nice to see a poker thread smile

I enjoy browsing 2+2 (spend most of my time on the politics board nowadays) and liquidpoker.net. Before black friday I played anywhere from a million to 1.5 million hands over twoish years on Full Tilt. Was lucky enough to coincidentally cash out most of my roll a month and a half before it was shut down.

Since Black Friday I've had no real desire to play on the remaining US sites. Just seems too risky. I really do miss spending afternoons playing... and being excited when miniFTOPS and FTOPS rolled around sad. Fucking US government.

If anyone wants pdfs of 'The Poker Blueprint', 'The No-Limit Hold'em Workbook' or 'Let There Be Range' send me a PM. All pretty good books for online play. Let There Be Range is a $1500+ book so... yeah, if you play and want it, you are getting a pretty good deal smile.

This isn't totally on topic but I used to fucking love High Stakes Poker on GSN. Gabe Kaplin and poker pros were the best fucking entertainment ever. Seasons 4-6 are amazing, 1-3 is fun. 7 is a bust.

Firing Benza was the dumbest move they ever made. The chemistry between him and Kaplan was everything on that show.

Kara is hot, but she's never on long enough for me to beat one off, so...:P

Anyways, surprising to see so many on this board playing. I'm pretty much a PLO specialist these days. Anybody encounter me? My screen names are all variations of the one here.

Getting rid of Benza was bad, but I kind of enjoyed Gabe being campy by himself also. When they got rid of Gabe and the FTP folks stopped showing up, the show was completely ruined. Was not a fan of Norm at all. When they started adding that stupid shit like "Daniel Negreanu PokerStars Did You Know?!" and the stuff Kara did, the show started to feel like Poker After Dark 2.

Never wanted to spend the time to learn PLO, but I know a little bit about it.

It's pretty much the same as NL, only with different mathematics. Valuetown a station, semi bluff a nit etc. It encourages gambling more, which can be bad for your variance, but it can also keep bad players afloat longer.

Anyone remember the durrrr vs. isildur NL match? Or when isildur 9 tabled durrrr, Phil Ivey and Patrick Antonius simultaneously? Epic stuff, good times.
