Just now saw this. I'd definitely be down to drink a beer with ya, but I'm workin both jobs that day! If I were you, I would just go to the show. To me, there's nothing like seeing a legend doing what he does best. Then again, I don't listen to Kenn Rogers at all.
I'll be out there for a week - I'm sure we can find some time to catch a beer...
I'm still torn on the KR thing. I like some of his stuff, but not a huge fan. But there's something to be said about seeing a legend as you say.

I'd go to a Kenny Rogers song just to hear Coward of the County live. Never has a song about gang rape been so widely accepted!
Check out the lyrics to Ruby, Don't Take Your Love To Town too. A little more there than the gentle chorus melody would suggest.
