Heard enough of that one down the years. It's a good one no doubt, but overkill at this stage! C'mon Slovakia!

Griezmann's a great fuckin footballer. Loved his celebration for his first goal. Let himself down on his celebration for his 2nd. His 2nd was a brilliant goal from him, top class. 2 touches, the composure, bang.

All fell apart in 10 minutes for Ireland. Two goals against, red card, game over. If they had better fitness I reckon they could have gotten a second and finished France off. Crushed them in the first half.

Think France's superior technique & speed did them in those 10 mins. Their passing & pace during that period was too much for Ireland to handle. Yea maybe the fewer rest days told a bit in Ireland not being able to maintain the level of their first half effort. Tho Ireland had a great chance just before the red card..

Tbh Duffy did the right thing making the foul & taking the red card.

Been a fantastic game. Perfect remedy after yesterday.
If he hadn't already, griezmann has announced his arrival. He's had a wonderful game today, a joy to watch.

And there it is, France through. Good game by Ireland and a good result for the tournament.

Yeah, France's superior abilities did them in pretty quickly once they got hold. Ireland should have never been able to upset them like in the first half, but they did. Impressive performance overall. The British teams have done well.

Ireland aren't British mate..

England should fancy their chances vs that French team, says he counting chickens.. Rami is an accident waiting to happen, the other 3 in that back line aren't any great shakes. If it wasn't for a couple of careless decisions defensively, Ireland would be going thru. Nobody tracked griezmann for either goal & Duffy went walkabouts for his 2nd. If England don't replicate those errors they have a great chance of beating France.
