I think the hardcore fan base can afford a full on Misery on them.. with what people were willing to pay for that AFD boxset (must admit, it's still on my list lol) and the bullshit VIP tickets, yeah I think we can do that.
What still be better, a Kickstarter or GoFundMe campaign?

If you look at it practically, he shouldn't- he's got a day job which is probably paying nice.
If you're not one of the writers, it doesn't matter if you've played on the track or not.. (I think that Brian talked about it a while ago)

The Rock in Rio 2011 rehearsal version is a lot like the changes Silkworms got. More riffy and classic.

It really is bizarre when you think about it...
Slash, Duff, and Izzy with the wisecracks about grunge/industrial in the late 90s.
Fast forward 20 years....
Reunion is here and they break the ice about a new record.
They are shown the songs they would've worked on had they never left in the first place.
*Insert Axl shit eating grin here*
I guess you can say that Axl has won.. and it only took him 25 years!
I believe it was you who said that they should've taken a break at the time (95-97), work on their solo stuff for a while then regroup for one hell of an album. Oh well

It might be a stretch, but notice that the GNRAIR website has a Medusa like figure, maybe it means the song was in the works for a while?

The idea of slash playing on those leaks really gets me into GNR mode.
It's really nice just that they've changed things up a bit though.
Speaking of IRS, it still baffles me that the NITL lineup hasn't tackled one of the few classic rockers on Chinese Democracy once. Like, in what bizarro universe is Slash playing Madagascar and Prostitute and fucking Silkworms, but IRS doesn't get a look in?
He doesn't really play on Madagascar, Fortus is doing all the heavy lifting there

People are people... if GN'R will release an all new songs album, NuGN'R fans will bitch about the "lost CD recordings", and will blame Slash and Duff.
If the new album will contain some of the leaked songs, AFD5 fanatics will complain.
Any cover they'll record will get much hate as well.
There's no winning here, let's enjoy what we can

They don't bring anything new or interesting to The Seeker, so it's unnecessary IMO. Wichita Lineman on the other hand... would love a studio version
