That's my plan.  I'm going to plan a USA holiday around a Buckethead tour lol.

So among all of you can we all agree that overall out of all the guitarists on CD that Buckethead would be considered the 1st lead guitarist. (I'm looking at it like an orchestra. You have the 1st row of clarinet players than the 2nd row of clarinet players and so forth-------lolo

Agreed.

Axl shouldn't have let Finck come back though.  Bucket was none too happy when he was all set to tour as the lead guitarist, and Finck showed up as if nothing happened and wanted back in.  Things may have been different, and for the better.

This!

You yanks have no right to complain.  If you want to see him get in your car and drive - it would be worth it.

does bucket ever go outside of the us?

As far as i know, he's played in Japan, Poland, and the UK and Rio with GNR.  That's it.

I can not believe they left the show because they were hungry.

They simply have no clue.

I think it's actually too simplistic. Needs more production imo. It doesn't have a kick to it.

I don't agree.  He wasn't trying to make an MJ cover.  Anyone can make an up-beat 'tribute' such as this:  http://truthinshredding.blogspot.com/20 … ckson.html

Bucket's track is on a much deeper level imho.  He basically summed up MJ's life in one song, and it's obvious he was touched by this event, unlike other musicians who just whip out an MJ cover because they feel obliged to.

As for needing more production, I couldn't disagree more.  The rawness of the track is one of it's best attributes - finger squeaks, ghost notes and all.

but it does sound a bit like he had a song knocking around in a back drawer somewhere and stuck it up on his site

I can guarantee you this isn't the case.

There's some raw emotion on this track, MJ was a huge influence to Bucket.
