I thought he played off Slash really well too.
Listen to them on this track. Fortus and Slash really do work very well together.
I bet when Axl heard that he thought to himself "Who's Izzy?"[/embed]
Fortus is not on that track. He also refused to jam with Slash when Slash was asked to Jam with Thin Lizzy. I think he left the stage for respect to Axl. Funny how he had to cover Slash in GNR and Dead Dasies. Haha.
Shame, I must have just convinced myself I was hearing what I wanted to. That's unsettling.

Great. Opened that in work. My own fault.

Guns N' Roses is Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler, Matt Sorum & Dizzy Reed
According to the Rock Hall.
Yes and Madonna is a rock and roll band according to the illustrious Rock N roll Hall of Fame too.
They have no authority. They're not the Hogwarts of Rock Music.
They're a bunch of posers who don't understand that the idea of a hall of fame where people can be included or excluded in rock n roll history goes against everything rock n roll stands for.
Fuck em.

Yeah and take into consideration the fact that anyone interested knows it's low quality footage of clips.
If it was HQ the number would be in the millions.
Since this show I have done shitload of searches on youtube for video and its amazing how many people have stole that jungle video and upload it them self

Pure theft plain and simple. there is a lot of money in ad revenue for videos with a large number of hits on youtube.
If you steal a video that is rising fast in popularity, you could take half the ad revenue.
The worst part is that the money is being taken out of the band and record labels pocket because when GNR release that show on DVD, and they might there was a pro camera man front row center there, a lot of people will think "I can watch that for free on youtube" and won't buy it. The lower returns on sales then makes the record company or DVD company , usually eagle rock they're the big rock DVD guys, reluctant to release any more material from the band due to low returns.
It's really fucked the game up. It used to be that between tours a band might put a concert film out to tide people over.
Now they are more likely to come out just before a major tour if there is no album on the table just so that the DVD release gets publicity and people go and buy a ticket as a result.
Although I love youtube, I dislike it a lot too.
Rant over.
#106 Re: Guns N' Roses » Your Outrageous Guns N' Roses Predictions » 482 weeks ago
I've come up with another outrageous one:
When AFD is re-released soon (I'd assume 2017 for the 30th but you never know - could be a year late knowing GNR) it will not only have the remaster many want but it will have ALL NEW AXL VOCALS - possibly from his fabled 2009 re-record of AFD with nu-guns.
I don't think he'll put out the full nu-gns re-record - but I can imagine a mix of 1987 band sounds with 1999 Vocals.
Nu-Guns to me were always a development of the UYI era GNR. They weren't about gritty rock n roll but more progressive style music. Like Dream Theater with a bit of NIN thrown in but the instrumental wank tuned down a few notches.
They couldn't do justice to AFD in my opinion.
I really don't want to hear Finks take on You're Crazy.

Scott Weiland got a memorial spot on IHeart Radio with maybe Big Bang Baby playing in background. Forgot the song. Glad he got a mention this time.
He deserves it. His solo albums are great.

Bash me if you will BUT.
I hereby solemnly swear that Frank Ferrer is the best drummer Guns N Roses have ever had, in my opinion.
Let the haters come:

I
To quote Batman Begins... "I'm not going to kill you.... but I don't have to save you"Every scene that Affleck's Batman goes full Rambo/Martin Riggs on the baddies with wreckless abandon, he never outwardly does anything to kill them. They just happen to get killed from the circumstances ala Burton's Batman.
Firstly I'm okay with it. I think the idea of a Superhero with no super powers who doesn't kill people is just fucking dumb.
I've been waiting for Batman to start killing people since I was about 3 years old.
But you are totally fucking wrong about him killing by circumstance.
You can't tell me that those are not outward purposeful attempts to kill people.
For fuck sake
I should also point out. I'm one of the few ho thought that the film was absolutely brilliant. I loved every last second of it and I cannot wait for more.
My favorite Marvel film was Ray Stevensons Punisher Warzone. That was a great movie. If you haven't seen it you should.
I loved Iron Man 1 and liked number 3. I thought the avengers was okay but had to turn it off on the re-watch because it got too boring once you knew the jokes and plot. All the other Marvel films are utter shite.
X-men 1 & 2 and Days of Future Past and Deadpool are also absolute masterpieces.
The rest of the X-men movies are shite.
With the exception of Wolverine which is great up until the end at which point its shite.
Oh and I liked watchmen but prefer Batman v Superman.
I think I liked the more Doom and Gloom superhero stuff and killing. They have to kill. Superheros who don't kill just annoy me.
Having said that though, Spawn was also shite.
Oh Judeg Dredd is a comic too isn't it?
That Dredd movie, the Karl Urban one, that was excellent.
