Yes it does they were still together during recording of that album, which was the point of the post.

Got it, not sure what to make very contemporary. Not a bad thing but, maybe there is a little more polish than there is inspiration. Maybe, it'll take more listens

^^^^ Hell no that's just some guy who threw together a cover, here's the actual clip:
He used the clip in an advertisement for his guitar collection.
It's real alright and supposedly there's a full version doing the rounds, I'll try get a handle on it, I don't think it's one of those hoarded tracks at all. Just a track passed around Ashba's own fan community.
My comment on it being a beautiful song wasn't a reference to the leak, haven't got it, pretty sure I heard it before though, it was on youtube at some point I think but don't quote me on that I could be wrong. I was referring to the live version I saw last year.

First time he said it I tought. Dj is just new to this. Second time I thought, Axl will be getting pissed now, and shut him up. Third time he said it I thought, oh shit. GNR are recording a new album!
Remember that leak last year of a studio version of DJ's Ballad of death? (which by the way is a beautiful song)
My skepticism is giving way to hope.

An air strike likely would have been ordered(maybe even the use of a "daisy cutter" to guarantee he is killed) which would have killed many civilians and turned this into an international crisis.
America's big, but its not dumb. No ones going to invade a country to blow up a boat load of civillians in order to get revenge on 1 guy who invaded a country to blow up a boatload of civillians.
That's like chopping off your arm because there's a spider in your hand.
It'l be interesting to see the photos, and hopefully, Footage?
