DuVall is the Pat Smear of AIC.
Basically... Yup.

This EP is vintage STP. It immediately brings me back to the good old days of when Scott had a pair, and didn't prance around like the K-Mart David Bowie he's become. I thank them for throwing the *With Chester on there, (unlike Alice In Chains) and will just say they deserve this thing being successful after Talk Show and Army Of Anyone were criminally overlooked because of a lack of name recognition.
ChesTP..

I had no idea what was up... I thought the forum died. I clicked every couple of days to see if I was imagining shit. Random check today yielded great results. I went to GunsNFnNRoses like... twice... Nope.

Is that enough? The fucking guy is productive, and I think Uncle Axl would benefit from having a guy like that in his ear. If he's just not going to write or record new music anymore, that's fine.. I'm all for making the music in your heart, and not forcing it. That just produces garbage, IMO...
If that's the case, So be it. But, for fucking shit's sake, Mr. Rose, just release the CD sessions shit that's locked away. Quit fucking tinkering with the shit and let it go. There shouldn't be any worries left as far as tarnishing some legacy.. That ship has sailed.
If you still DO wanna make music.. With or without the musicians you currently have on the payroll, give Trent a buzz. He's clearly a dude that knows how to get stuff done, and harness creativity at an astounding level. Drop the ego, and let the man guide you along your path.. Free of all of the things that are holding you back.
I have no doubt the results would floor everyone. Regardless of genre.
Axl and Trent are n`t exactly best buddies. I don`t think Trent would agree to work with Axl even if Axl called him.
A man can dream.

I like the really aggressive fuck-you kind of NIN of Downward Spiral, is there anything like that on this new one?
I also dug the really atmospheric stuff on The Fragile too.
Nope... But it's still fucking incredible.
#119 Re: Guns N' Roses » In a perfect world. » 618 weeks ago
Sometimes, I wish he could just get in a room with someone like Trent Reznor... And actually listen to the guy's advice. Fuck... The whole band.
2 months... New album... released. Produced by NINnypants.
Shit, he could probably get Axl in the gym, too...

This week was the most intense hour of television I've ever seen.. This show seems poised to have an even more perfect ending than The Wire... And I couldn't be happier.
