TDK, would have been a tougher choice it had been Last Crusade.

I'm sorry to read this, I think she was a big inspiration to him.

I saw this yesterday, pretty underwhlemed to be honest. Not particularly creepy in truth (although it has its moments) and at times just ridiculous, I'll give it credit though it's definitely up there with the jumpiest films I've ever seen. Falls really flat at the end though imo, the final 20 minutes feels like a cheap B movie that ran out of ideas and money.

Both of my nominations went in the first round. Not surprised Die Hard went especially against Apocalypse Now. Bit dissappointed to see SPR go so early though. As for this nomination, I haven't seen TCM so I can't/won't vote, although I have to say Wonka wouldn't win against any of the films that I have seen that are in this comp. As James said it's great as a kid but I'd have to be desparately bored to sit through it now.

Wizard of Oz, I think Ghostbusters II is better than the original anyway.

Die Hard (1988)
Saving Private Ryan (1998)

If Azoff is making that effort (and at the very least it will have crossed his mind), then he'd have to be a lot smarter than that (which he is). Not saying it's what he's doing but if that's his ultimate plan he'll have to try harder than 'You need Slash and Slash needs you' every ten minutes in Axls ear.
I agree though Neemo, constantly being reminded of or about something you feel strong animosity only tends to magnify the problem. I certainly don't think it would have helped the situation over the years at the very least.

Amazing, in more ways than one...

Know Your Enemy is one of the worst tracks on it. Also yes some of the "epic" tracks feel forced, as does the anti-political and anti-religous statements. It does sound like they don't know what they're talking about(see their interview with Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 for a great example of this, when they discuss religon). But despite all this most of the songs are still good and it's an enjoyable record.
I'm not too interested in their 'message' or whatever they wish to sing about, be it religion or politics, I can make my own mind up about stuff like that. I'd rather just have a good album to listen to and that's what I've got.

If you liked AI in any way, shape or form it's definitely worth checking out imo.
