How would you think they compare to, say, Bathory?

It's been a while since I listened to Blood Fire Death, but I recall enjoying it.

Put The Story of Ricky on for the lads an hour back.

They remain glued to their seats.

Whether we all like it or not "Reunion" requires Axl and Slash playing a song together in public. If that happens, they could have anyone else on stage with them and it will not matter. It will be headlined as a reunion having happened if those two play a song together.

Axl + Slash = GNR reunion. Throw Duff in for an additional credibility boost and you're on.

Is it fair for the old guys, the hardcores, the what-have-you's? Debatable.

I know how it will be headlined, but no one with accurate knowledge of the old band's lineup could say it was a true, full reunion without Izzy's presence (for example).

Fact of the matter is, most people identifying themselves as fans of the band have a hard time naming a third member out of the AFD lineup. Cry them a river about a drummer who used to be in the band way back when, but they won't give a toss.

It's irrelevant what we think.

There you go.

The Beatles were a huge band, but still, not all people who like the band can name all those guys. They don't care, the music's what counts.

GSH,

Very nice, Sir!

Are you into Sly Stone?

Melvin,

Don't give me that crap about lineups.

Axl threw a fit the last time around and called you out.

Axl went overtime the time before that and called you out.

Just to keep it real.

Fun and creepy at the same time.

Pilferk's case would stand court, if

this lineup would be actively preparing a new album or touring behind one released less than three and a half years ago.

Instead, Axl will have reporters going on about "this faux pas GNR, while Axl denied us the pleasure of Slash & co @ RRHOF".

I admit, he can't win. But that's because of the GNR name, and his insistence to remain stuck with CD.

Just adding new, original B-sides or whatever to the setilist would be fine. He's done it before with IRS and Riad 16

I really couldn't care less, and I'm sure Axl feels the exact same way. Hell, he's the KING of namecalling.

You think the world really needs an heir to the throne, there?

That's easy.

He went through Hollywood with films like The Beach.
