It seems like the media keeps suggesting that Trump and/or Biden will not run in 2024. Does anyone actually believe it's not inevitable at this point?
Trump supporters don't even care what he has to offer anymore. It's all ride or die at this point...defiant to the end...and completely and totally substanceless. Trump has nothing to offer except revenge.
I was reading about the Michigan GOP...they're completely broke and literally fist fighting each other at meetings and conventions. Losers keep running and doubling down on the same shit that cost them in 2022.
How does the Republican Party get out of this?

I keep seeing Back to the Future 4 trailers - but I've heard no official word that it they are real...the trailers are really impressive and could easily fool lots of people if they are fake.
Anyone know anything about it? My favorite trailer begins, 'when time travel is invented it will be the biggest ethical dilemma that mankind will ever have to deal with...'

The Facebook and Twitter media definitely made sure you’d come to this conclusion eventually…
AEW is a jerk off vanity project…
It’s like Uber…never shown a profit ever…just keeps going for some reason

We all agree here that the Wagnor (sp?) was murdered by the soviet state, correct?

Democrats like Obama and Biden are what Republicans were in the 90s.
They steered right while the lunatic fringe went far left.
Yeah the other side has problems too. I really wish they could somehow move on from Trumpism.
I'd like to see the alternate timeline where Kasich gets the 2016 nomination.
I don't really see an agenda anymore...other than they universally hate immigrants.
What do the republicans (the current form) have to offer anyone other than who they already have?
That GOP debate was such a waste of time...
For me the Trump era started in Obama's first term. It's so exhausting...why keep this up? Can you offer something new? Or will the current iteration of the Republican party have to die off (voting base included)

I’ve actually done that before, James…
Can’t say I’ve watched every second of the debates you’re referring to…
but i can see how charming Reagan is…and there weren’t any insults…maybe subtle jabs…nothing directly or overt
But i also can’t really see huge differences in the parties back then.
Now…the republicans are unrecognizable…and democrats are even unrecognizable even from the Clinton days…

The issue with bray was apparently that he got COVID earlier this year…it led to heart issues which led to a massive heart attack today.

I didn’t watch the Republicans debate last night nor have i really tried to watch clips…but if what I’m reading is true, i cannot believe what a waste of time debates have become…why bother?
They’re fighting over voters that are with Trump by doing…what? Why does anyone on that stage actually feel they have a chance? Either offer an alternative or give up. And by alternative i mean…don’t just say what trump wants you to say…
Maybe they want to be VP?

Trump to be arrested in Georgia? Lol
I do enjoy that he is spending his golden years in this manner. I’m sure he thinks he’ll live forever or something.
But his time is running out…what’s ultimate prize here? Let’s say he succeeds at every goal he has…which by my assessment…changes by the minute…
What does it get him? Not another second in this earth. In the words of Axl, he’s ‘wasting your own god damn time…’
This all amounts to a very slow sleeper hold…I’m still hopeful that our system works enough that we won’t destroy each other to satisfy the man child’s ego.

I think it would be interesting to still have my grandparents around and ask them if they felt the same way at any point in their lives.
Someone wise once told me that the older you get the less you’ll recognize the world…
There are two major reasons for that in our times…one is technology which every generation had to deal with…
But i also think the social media technology was just something we weren’t prepared for…and anyone born after FB, Twitter etc thinks this is just how it always was…
I remember before internet. I remember being totally enamored with the possibilities of it all. i have slowly been falling out of love with social tech because it makes me so unhappy. I can only hope it was all an unintended consequence but still the damage for me is done.
The other thing? 2020…i already cannot remember what life was like before then. It accelerates changes in all directions. It give people a mouthpiece that no one knew existed.
