Heres a story from a not so legit source smile about a convo with Axl and a fan at an airport. It seems to hammer home the Idea I been pushing that CD was released to clear the books and DJ is recording parts for the next GNR CD to be released A.S.A.P now that this Chinese Democracy legal and media fiasco is over.

Copy and Paste Job follows-

Axl breaks silence with a fan

Well I live in New York. I am mega fan of Guns n 'Roses, and is also my cousin Richard. He works as executive and travel a lot. Well, I believe in my cousin. He said he found Axl at the airport in California, with Beta. And with a bit of fear, came close to saying how much admired the new work and why not the band went on tour.

He said axl was very kind and polite and said that the tour of the new cd already happened in 2006/2007 and nobody noticed it. The only thing missing was to launch the CD and this was done now. So the band now rehearsing with DJ Ashba the new songs for the next CD.

Well, I believe in my cousin and no one can blame me for that. If he lies, i will kill him. But I think this information makes sense, because why not Guns out on tour and is in silence?. I would like to know the your opinion.

nah don't get your hopes up til paradise city...something can ALWAYS go wrong wink

i agree with that 1 in 1000 number about naming the band. i figure 99% of fans that can name the band members belong to one of the major forums, and thats not a whole bunch of people.

It would be interesting to hear 2002 TWAT but I don't imagine it'd be much different.

#1467 Re: Guns N' Roses » i'm back » 890 weeks ago

how bout this as a course of action of preventing leaks:

Don't play your songs at strip clubs.
Don't mail your demos to Mike Piazza.
Don't hand out cds to your boys in A7X, CKY, Baz, whoever.
Don't share your songs with your buddies in Brazil.

DO release material on a timely basis.
DO communicate with your fanbase.
DO present your band as a real band.
DO take shit seriously.

If you can't handle these simple items, don't bitch and moan when people download your shit. And for fans that bitch and moan that other fans download his shit, get over it.

Every elimination here is bizarre. There are always twists and turns. Hell, Wonka destroyed cinematic masterpieces for fucks sake. ANYTHING can happen here. Thats what makes it interesting. If these were predictable I doubt there would be much participation.

Kala being eliminated in the first round was a joke, and more than likely a few trolls(or one with multiple accounts) voting for it because its widely known I'm a Maya clit swinger. I realize a few people here don't like her and some of those votes were legit, but a first round exit was out of the blue and raised red flags on the entire elimination. In hindsight, that first round deserved a do over, but it would have looked like I was just trying to save it, so I didn't bother.

The only predictable elimination here was that Music Madness, and the only predictable thing about it was the winner. It had twists and turns along the way as well.

in regards to kala james you have to consider the demo here. this is a forum about a rock band. no matter how good you may think kala is, it is not gonna go over as well as you'd like it to because of the genre difference. i don't think its anything persona against you.

Well there were the 4 warmup shows which received a lot of attention, followed by a very successful European trek, then North America where they headlined Inland Invasion, and despite doing some low numbers in small market areas, held their own in the states.

Axl was showing up in tabloids, rollingstone.com every other day, and pallin around with all sorts of people. There was a legitimate feeling that maybe Axl was gonna get it to work afterall, but then...well thats where this guy's article comes in.
