She did say they were hopefull they would be able to show it at some point over the weekend.
Its was a bit of a bummer, she said normally at this time of night we would be bringing you our headliner...
In the backround to where the presenters are sitting you could hear CD

"Guns N'Roses requested their performance not be broadcast"
From the horses mouth on BBC.

The point was a live broadcast, but it didn't happen? Well, they did at Lisbon in 2004 online, and the stream fucking sucked. The sound was downright horrible..those computer geeks had no idea how to make the sound good until the last song or something. Totally ruined experience I remember.
This isnt a stream, its HQ pro-shot. Fuck, fingers crossed for something tonight

I've read some people saying GNR wont be shown on BBC, but I hope thats just the internet stream. BBC3 normal has Reading Live scheduled for 10.30-11.30, surely that will be the main headliner

Lost Prophets just led the crowd with an spontanious burst of Sweet Child, the crowd just took over
Good vibes for GN'R for sure!
Watching BBC 3, hit the red button to choose between Reading or Leeds.

Wow!
Got some vodka, some afghan black weed, and tonight I'm going to put my feet up after a long slog out working all day and watch Guns N'Roses live on TV
Overseas fans dont really seem to realise how big a deal this is, Reading Festival is a British institution and the BBC coverage is a highlight of the UK's summer, millions will be watching Axl and Co. tonight
Will he blow it or will he emerge triumphant? Who knows, its 50/50 he even shows up lol!
If Axl is on top form tonight, then this will be a monumental moment in his and new GNR's fortunes, this could be the night he genuinally wins over music fans and media doubters.
Lets fookin av' it then!!
