You guys got to check this out.  CNN recently aired "Death Grip, inside pro wrestling".  In it, they have an interview with John Cena where they make him sound like he does steroids.  WWE has posted the edited version of the interview which CNN aired, and the non edited version which has his full response.  CNN basically snipped his response to get exactly what they wanted... its pretty shameful.

Xbox 360 Tops PS3 in Japan

November 9, 2007 - Microsoft is having one impressive week over in Japan. In addition to grabbing the second slot in the Media Create top 50 sales charts with Ace Combat 6, the 360 sold 17,673 hardware units in one week alone. With the new sales, the system has at last crossed the 500,000 sold mark, which is something that the original Xbox never did.

But more than that, this is what we're sure will keep people talking. The 17,673 hardware units was enough for the 360 to beat both the PS2 and PS3! Yes, the 360 is now the second hottest console in Japan (next to the Wii).

Topping the Media Create hardware charts for the week of 10/29 to 11/4 is, expectedly, the DS Lite, whose 78,552 units beat second place PSP's 59,714. Wii comes in next with 37,617 units, a jump of about 10,000 from last week, likely fueled by Super Mario Galaxy's release.

The PS3 is actually pretty close to the 360, at 17,434 units. Given that Media Create estimates its numbers based off a sampling of stores, it's possible that the PS3 did actually beat the 360 this week. We'll never know for sure. What is pretty clear, however, is that the 360 beat the PS2, which only managed 10,209 units.

Strong 360 sales were likely influenced by Microsoft's 5,000 yen price drop and the release of Ace Combat 6. The 360 also saw a flood of budget releases for popular titles like Idol Master and Earth Defense Force.

The true test will be if the 360 can maintain these impressive numbers next week. Koei is bringing Dynasty Warriors 6 to the system on Sunday, which should help drive system sales.

The PS3, meanwhile, will have that as well, along with the heavily marketed 39,980 yen 40 gigabyte system and one of those few foreign titles that actually commands an audience in Japan, Ratchet & Clank.

It's doubtful that the 360 will beat the PS3 in sales next week, but we presume Microsoft wouldn't mind just staying in five digits for two weeks in a row.

I would usually agree with you.  But, if done right, this could be a must see movie.  If they stick true to the storyline, and make it feel like an old school noir film it could be great.

I'm glad they did something though.  His death scene in season 5 was horrible.  I mean Jack, Palmer, and Tony were by far the most popular characters and for Tony to get such a shitty death it just left a bad taste in my mouth.  I'd be willing to bet that he isnt the main villain though for season 7.  My guess is that about halfway through the season, we'd find out he's working undercover, or something.  B/c I really cant see the powers that be fucking up that character so bad.  I dunno I guess it doesnt really matter now though, since we wont be seeing it till god knows when.

I love their newest album.  I saw them live back in 01 (or 02 cant remember) with Kid rock.  Josh Todd gets so into the performance it was amazing.  I dig them b/c they have a sound that you dont hear that much anymore

I'll have to look for the link, but I read somewhere that Lost is going to air an 8 episode season, and that will be it for this year.

24 Yanked From FOX's Schedule

November 7, 2007 - FOX has released a revised lineup for the 2007 - 2008 television season, and 24 is not a part of it. This wasn't completely unexpected, as the network and the show's producers were said to be strongly considering not running the show at all this season, given the current writers strike. With only about 8 episodes completed (some reports say 9), the show, which is centered around their heavily serialized, 24 episode format, would be extremely off-balance were they to simply run those finished episodes now and then have fans go through a prolonged wait until the rest of the season was completed and ready to air. As the FOX press release puts it: "24 PREMIERE POSTPONED TO ENSURE 'DAY 7' PROVIDES NON-STOP ACTION"

The last 24 episode ran in May, so fans will hardly be excited to hear they will now have to wait an indeterminate time to get new episodes. With the length of the strike unknown, it's impossible to say yet whether the show would now come back in the fall, or perhaps not until early 2009. 24 was renewed through Season 8 earlier this year and Season 7 was currently in production. Assuming the episodes shot next season will now consist of the remainder of "Day 7" rather than "Day 8", it's unknown whether these events would result in the show adding another year of production on to their current deal or if "Day 8" may no longer occur, unless an additional renewal happens.

The two night premiere of 24 was to run January 13th and 14th, but Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (already slated to debut on January 14th) will now instead become a two-night event.

FOX also notes a "Mix of Original and Encore Episodes to Begin in January", which seems to hint that they will stagger the remaining new episodes of shows like Bones, Prison Break and 'Til Death with repeats, to get a bit more time before they reach their earlier than expected season finales.

Below is the FOX press release for their revised lineup.

FOX ANNOUNCES REVISED LINEUP FOR 2007-08 SEASON

"24" PREMIERE POSTPONED TO ENSURE "DAY 7"
PROVIDES NON-STOP ACTION

In light of the recently announced strike by The Writers Guild of America, FOX has revised its lineup for January and the remainder of the 2007-2008 season. (The new schedule is subject to change, pending resolution of the strike.)

The highly anticipated drama TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES will have a two-night premiere on Sunday, Jan. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) and Monday, Jan. 14 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), the show's regular time period. PRISON BREAK, which has its last November airing on Monday, Nov. 12 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), returns to Mondays (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) beginning Jan. 14.

The seventh season premiere of 24 is being postponed to ensure that "Day 7" can air uninterrupted, in its entirety.

Television's No. 1 show, AMERICAN IDOL, returns for Season Seven with a two-night, four-hour premiere event Tuesday, Jan. 15 and Wednesday, Jan. 16 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). New game show THE MOMENT OF TRUTH premieres Wednesday, Jan. 23 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

Two popular FOX dramas take over Friday nights starting Friday, Jan. 4, when BONES has its time period premiere at 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT and encores of HOUSE begin weekly appointments at 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT. Comedy 'TIL DEATH also moves to Fridays, beginning with the time period premiere on Friday, March 7 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT).

HOUSE will air in its regular time period after AMERICAN IDOL on Tuesdays (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) starting Jan. 22, and also will encore on Mondays (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) beginning March 10. An original episode of HOUSE with guest star Mira Sorvino will immediately follow Super Bowl XLII on Sunday, Feb. 3, as previously announced.

In addition to AMERICAN IDOL, the Sunday-night animated comedies - THE SIMPSONS, KING OF THE HILL, FAMILY GUY and AMERICAN DAD - as well as ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5th GRADER?, DON'T FORGET THE LYRICS!, COPS and AMERICA'S MOST WANTED: AMERICA FIGHTS BACK all will continue with original episodes, while a mix of original and encore episodes is currently planned for HOUSE, BONES, 'TIL DEATH and BACK TO YOU. Encore episodes of BACK TO YOU will follow AMERICAN IDOL on Wednesdays (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) beginning March 12.

Several new and returning shows are set to premiere in the spring. The drama NEW AMSTERDAM debuts Friday, Feb. 22 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). The Farrelly Brothers comedy UNHITCHED premieres Sunday, March 2 (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) for a six-week run in the time period. On Monday, March 3, unscripted role-reversal series WHEN WOMEN RULE THE WORLD (working title) debuts (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). Friday, March 7 marks the series premiere of comedy THE RETURN OF JEZEBEL JAMES (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT). Fiery chef Gordon Ramsay suffers no fools on Tuesday, April 1 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), when HELL'S KITCHEN returns for Season Four. And new drama CANTERBURY'S LAW starts making its case Friday, April 11 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

Nick Hogan Arrested for Critical Crash

Florida police have finally put the brakes on Nick Hogan.

The 17-year-old Hogan Knows Best star, who appeared on the reality show with his wrestling superstar father, Hulk Hogan, has been arrested on several criminal charges, including third-degree felony reckless driving involving serious bodily injury, stemming from an August car crash that left his passenger in critical condition.

Police also cited the younger Hogan, whose real name is Nick Bollea, for use of a motor vehicle in commission of a felony, being under the age of 21 and operating a vehicle with a breath-alcohol level of 0.02 percent or higher and illegal window tint.

Hogan turned himself in to authorities at 9:48 a.m. Wednesday, hours after Clearwater Police issued a warrant for his arrest upon the completion of a "extensive investigation" into the wreck by a team of four officers. He is currently being booked on the charges at the Pinellas County Jail.

Daniel Jacobs, the 22-year-old driver of a second car, which investigators have concluded was racing Hogan's at the time of the crash, is also being issued a summons to appear in court for reckless driving.

"Nick and the entire 'Hogan' Bollea family are saddened that criminal charges have been filed in regards to the tragic single car accident on August 26, 2007," the family said in a statement. "Nick will meet and answer these charges in the appropriate arena'”a court of law."

Despite being a minor at the time of the accident in Clearwater, Florida, Hogan will be tried on the charge as an adult.

Hogan's passenger, 22-year-old John Graziano, a Marine who had just completed a tour of duty in Iraq, remains hospitalized, reportedly in a coma. Graziano, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, may also have suffered brain damage stemming from swelling of his brain.

"The family's primary focus and concern still remains for the continued recovery of Nick's longtime friend John Graziano," they said. "The Bolleas will also continue to stand by the Graziano family and help them in any way they can."

Hogan himself sustained minor injuries from the smashup, including a broken arm and ribs and neck and knee damage. He was treated and released from the hospital the morning after the accident.

The crash took place when Hogan's yellow Toyota Supra sports car careened off a four-lane highway in downtown Clearwater, crashing into a 25-foot-tall palm tree. Investigators determined that Hogan was driving above 60 mph in the 40-mph zone, and also said that wet roads may have contributed to the magnitude of the crash. The Hogan family acknowledges that the recent rainfall made for particularly dangerous driving conditions, but denies that the accident was triggered by excessive speeds, despite police evidence to the contrary.

"There has been much speculation as to the wet road conditions surrounding this accident. Although the evidence has not been evaluated, preliminary reports from the experts indicate that this was not, in fact, a high-speed accident."

While the Hogans hope Nick will be cleared, they are eager to make something positive of the tragedy, using the event to educate others on the importance of vehicle safety.

"The tragedy to both families is compounded by the fact that unfortunately John was not wearing his seatbelt. Thankfully, Nick was wearing his. Because of what happened to John, the entire Bollea family will make it a priority to increase public awareness about the importance of always wearing your seatbelt."
