#1581 Re: Guns N' Roses » A Message From Ron That Really Is An Eye Opener » 921 weeks ago

I'm glad to see this get cleared up.  Otherwise it could have turned into a five page debate.  Just one question though, who contacted who?  Did BBF see the original post made last night and respond to it?  Or did you send him an email?

Warrant in Philadelphia Cop Slaying

PHILADELPHIA (AP) '” Police identified a suspect and issued a warrant for his arrest on Sunday in the shooting death of an officer who walked in on a robbery at a doughnut shop.

Police Commissioner Sylvester Johnson identified the suspect as John Lewis, 21. Johnson said Lewis was armed with at least two guns and should be considered extremely dangerous.

Officer Chuck Cassidy, 54, died Thursday, a day after a gunman shot him in the head when Cassidy interrupted an armed robbery at a Dunkin' Donuts.

Witnesses have said the gunman went into the shop and demanded money just before the policeman opened the door. The man then spun around and shot Cassidy before the officer could react.

A public viewing and funeral service will be held Wednesday for Cassidy at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in downtown Philadelphia.

More than $153,000 has been donated as a reward for finding his killer.

I have a question about the map feature.  I dont know if its possible, but is there any way we could set it up so it shows everyone?  As it is right now, we can only see where someone is when you check out their profile.  It would be awesome if there was a way we could have everyone together.

This another one of those what the fuck stories.

--------------------------------

Niwot man accused of assaulting girl, 8, drinking her urine

An 8-year-old girl who consistently spent the night with a 47-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting her and drinking her urine told her mother what was happening, but the mom didn't think it was a problem, according to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.

Joseph S. Cardillo, of Niwot, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of sexual assault on a child by a person in position of trust, and is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond at the Boulder County Jail.

Investigators are considering whether to charge the mother, whose name authorities would not release to protect the victim's identity, Boulder County sheriff's Cmdr. Phil West said. He said she may be mentally ill.

The girl has been taken by the Department of Social Services, but a final custody determination has not been made, West said.

Social Services officials were investigating reports that the girl looked dirty and hungry when she disclosed her relationship with Cardillo, according to an arrest warrant released Friday.

According to the warrant, the mother told detectives she met Cardillo at a Hare Krishna meeting in Boulder. She told them she'd never been to his basement home in the 8100 block of Centrebridge Drive, but met him in public places every Saturday for the past year so he could take the girl home for sleepovers.

The girl told authorities that Cardillo, whom she calls Jamuna, caught her urine in cupped hands to drink it and used a sex toy on her. They slept in the same bed together, usually naked, and would bathe together. She said Cardillo told her not to tell anyone.

But the girl's mother told authorities her daughter did tell her what was happening, but she didn't think it was a problem as long as it was touching and not sex, the warrant said. The mother said she's a nudist and knows other people who drink urine.

The mother '” who told detectives she has a degree in English and was trying to get into tutoring '” said she asked her daughter if Cardillo was making her do anything she didn't want to and the girl said no, so she had to respect that, according to the warrant.

Cardillo is scheduled to be charged Tuesday. If convicted of felony sex assault, he could face a possible life prison sentence.

He has no previous arrests in the state, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

On the Web site www.sacredsexcolorado.com, a listing for Joseph Cardillo in Niwot claims he is a certified therapist in tantra, sacred sexuality, spirituality, kundalini, bliss-ecstasy, ancient cultures and gender issues; and offers custom sessions including hot oil massages, coaching, teaching and music gatherings.

According to the site, Cardillo says he has treated thousands and describes himself as 'a celestial, starseeded being, filled with so much love and spiritual divinity, one senses otherworldliness.'

Authorities don't think there are other possible victims.

Tommie, I have a similiar OCD thing, when I use the iron I have to unplug it and stare that the unplugged iron to get a picture in my head so that when I am in work I am not asking myself did I shut the iron?

Exactly!  I usually empty the ashtrays in the toilet.  Then I take them back to where the originally go, and flip them upside down and look at them so I can get the mental image in my head.  But I end up doing it like ten or so times.

#1588 Re: The Garden » Weird Quirks You Have » 922 weeks ago

I have a moderate case of OCD.  So it usually takes me a good twenty minutes to leave the house every day.  I must check the ashtrays and make sure all the cigs are out.  And for some reason I always have to make sure my bedroom is in respectable shape.  So between checking the ashtrays in the living room, bathroom, my room, and making sure my room is clean I'm fit to be tied.  I've had it since I was in my late teens.  It went away when I was used to drink and be high all the time, but its come back something fierce since I've been clean.

#1590 Re: The Garden » The NFL 2007-08 Season thread » 922 weeks ago

"I liked being the rich kid in that area and having my own high status life," Reid told a probation officer in a statement read by the judge. "I could go anywhere in the 'hood. They all knew who I was. I enjoyed it. I liked being a drug dealer."

I'm still stunned about how stupid this guy sounds.  I liked to believe that Andy Reid taught his sons better than this, and it just blows my mind that they can be this stupid.

Both sons lived at their parents' home in the suburb of Villanova at the time of their arrests.

This right here kills my whole argument for defending Andy Reid.  Whenever I defended him I would always work on the assumption that the sons didn't live with their parents.  B/c you couldnt blame the parents at all if the kids lived on their own.  But if all of this shit was going on in his house, shit is going to hit the fan.  I caught something on sports center saying about how the NFL is going to have to respond to this quickly b/c if they dont, its going to look like a double standard with players compared to coaches.

This is going to get (even more) ugly.
