A Private Eye

I've been listening to this song a fair bit recently and it just gets better and better with each listen imo. It's right up there with Slither and FTP, how this song never made it onto Libertad I'll never know, it's an absolute gem, the final verse and solo from Scott and Slash is a really magic moment. How does everyone else feel about this track now, nearly a year on from first hearing it?

In other words, they have not turned the record over to the label. Common sense tells you that. If they are negotiating, then they are not gonna give them the album until the deal is completely done. A few articles simply took it upon themselves to say the record was turned in-no credible sources for that. Beta said the album was done, NOT handed in. You don't give them the only bargaining chip you have.

Merck said the label wouldn't even talk to GNR until the album was handed in. That would leave us with a stalemate of infinate proportions. The label not willing to talk until it's handed in and GNR not willing to hand it over until the label is willing to talk.

If GNR hand in the album the label can't just run off and release it, cackling as Axl chases after them. I dare say these negotiations were necessary no matter who has the album physically in their posession.

It's been handed in, it's been said from multiple sources and I believe it. Doesn't mean we're closer to a release but I'm confident the label has the album.

They hadn't shown what the 'other' side of his face looked like thought, they kept that under wraps.

Wow, no wonder it's being kept under wraps. It's certainly no kids film if he looks like that. I remember Bale being interviewed after BB and saying he would love to make an 18 rated Batman film, which at the time I thought was really exciting, whilst this might not be an 18 rating it's great to see a super hero film being aimed at an older audience, there's so much more potential.

Did you mention there's plans to make another Batman film after DK with Two Face being the main villain?

Michelle is very easy, I slept with her after the second date 16

Has anyone been in the comedy club yet? I had no idea they'd got Ricky Gervais to appear in the game, it's spot on as well his mannerisms and everything are so accurate, his routine is part of the stand up routine he actually used on his last tour that I went to see. I couldn't beleive my eyes when I saw him walk on stage on the game.

Yeah, the promotion for this film has been subpar at best. Like you, I had completely forgot about it until someone mentioned it to me.

I really hope he avoids the typical "Shyamalan twist". Its become even more predictable than droning dialog in a Tarantino film.

Wasn't Signs a Shymalan film? I seem to remember that being fairly twistless, the only one of his films I know of that is though.

My copy came yesterday. The game looks amazing, I'm finding the driving quite frustrating though, probably just takes time to get used to.

I've always believed that Slash want's nothing to do with a reunion and now he's said this more then once because he's brought up the late issue in another article.

Now he's stated that Axl has issues with him.

I have always firmly believed a reunion would not happen and Slash just keeps confiming that over and over.

Really? I don't get that from him at all. I think he'd be all over a reunion if the cirumstances were right. He's rightly very proud of what he and the other guys achieved in GNR and I think there will always be more than just a small place in his heart for GNR. The key point being however, that I don't think he's banking on it happening, he's established a career without GNR and over time become the biggest guitar icon of the last 20 years. He doesn't need it to happen and has made peace with the fact that it may not.

He's said time and time again he wouldn't be opposed to it if there was some sort of mutual respect between all parties. What he then usually goes on to say to dampen it is that he doesn't see that happening in the immediate future, but he never rules it out.

I personally don't think it'll happen any time soon, but it would only take one phone call....

I just want another good GTA game, each GTA game has been an improvement on the previous, if this is better than San Andreas there'll be little complaints from me. I'm still waitng for it to arrive btw 17
