Bird (the guy who bought the locker) made up all that shit about having more Village discs with stuff like Oklahoma & Zodiac with vocals because he didn't want people to know everything he had had been leaked. Rick swore up and down that Bird had all these unleaked tracks (like Dragon, whatever the fuck that was supposed to be) but when pressed if he had actually heard any of this stuff to verify it he didn't answer, which answers the question itself imo.

Did he fake the paperwork with Dragon and the other titles written on too? Engel & Engel was written on it. If he faked it he must have done research to know who Don Engel was. Not impossible though of course.

Brasky, all I can tell you is this.. if I had more 'unreleased material', you'd have more unreleased material - as I have proven many times when things of that nature have found themselves in my direction, I don't play games where those things are concerned.

If there are more 'uncirculated' village discs (which I've heard rumors of but never seen one scintilla of direct evidence for them), I can assure you they're not in my grubby lil' paws smile

I'll say this the pieces of the puzzle finally fit. Sure i had to accept that I've been outsmarted , duped and used along the way.

Now i see the board.

I will vouch for Dark. he does not hoard.  But MSL and Walker do that all the time, and Walker is the one who loves to mess with leaks when he leaks them, isnt it funny how it seems like the General has been messed with

Every time stuff leaks that has been messed with has always been Walker

Also its walkers MO when he leaks stuff to use part of the song lyrics or song title as his username

Remember when he leaked stuff he messed with under the name 3$Pyramid

This is what and who I meant when I mentioned leaks being "watermarked" for lack of a better term. Your not wrong. The General does sound fucked with a bit.

This thread is making for interesting reading on my lunch break

What there doing now is basically what Ron said they should do back then, drop a few songs at a time. They should have done this years ago

I think that was always there, just more clear in the BBF version because there was a lot less going on

Let me joke, friend. It is all I have left. I certainly don't have any released music.

Well hopefully that changes in December unless they push it back again. I hope the mix is different though

I do have an instrumental version on my old iPod that I found floating around years ago that does have some more synth, much like the live version

I think i remember that it sounded like someone made it with early vocal separation software.

You mention the Bumblefoot version and I think a lot of people think of that as the remix, but if you look at his description it doesn't fit that at all. Brain was asked to work on six remixes for the band one of which one of which clearly was Oh My God. Bizarrely this has been largely forgotten by people.

It doesn't surprise me if it's out there, but it does surprise me it hasn't leaked.

the BBF version of oh my god did leak I thought
I have it or is that not it

That did yes. But if you listen to it it does not match Axl's description at all.

The version that leaked is a a mono version of the song panned to the hard right channel and BBF guitar take panned hard left.

That is not a remix. With the remix Axl mentions new vocals (& a lot of them). There are no new vocals on the BBF leak at all.

I still can’t get over what a colossal clusterfuck this entire release has been. Why would you tack on two of the most sought after and anticipated tracks of the CD era to a B-side for a vinyl single? They’re better than Hardskool and way better than Absurd. The press was great for Perhaps, he has goodwill with the media, The General would have been heralded because of the child abuse aspect. Whoever is making these decisions needs to step back and get someone in there who has an actual plan and knows how to execute it.

The leaks were the only good thing that came from this. They screwed up every step of this process. They can blame the vinyl plant, but these songs should never have been released like this to begin with

Has it been confirmed Monsters is on the vinyl too?

No.

We will have a better understanding of how he sounds in a studio now when this song from the Michael Schenker album either leaks or is released. Due somewhere in first quarter next year.
