I struggled to choose an option however I agree 100% with James’ point:
The only way we will get official releases is if the songs leak first.
If we don’t get new music by the end of this year I can easily see what is left of the GNR fan community fading away.
If TB can’t be bothered then maybe we need to take action, even if it means crowdfunding to buy songs off a hoarder

I had not heard about this before, but apparently the Deadpool films were produced because of enthusiasm over leaked footage:
“Fox became doubtful about the project, even after Reynolds produced test footage of himself in-character. However, the footage was eventually leaked in 2014 to enthusiastic reviews, prompting Fox to green-light the project. Reynolds attributed Fox's green-lighting of the film entirely to the leak. He, Miller and the writers had previously discussed leaking the footage themselves, and Reynolds initially thought that Miller had done so. He later believed the leak came from someone at Fox.”
Speaks to the power of leaks in general.
Yes, I said in “general.”
Wondering what it might take for that to happen …

CD should’ve been a double album like Axl wanted to begin with. The best thing Azoff and Iovine could’ve done was release it all at once the way he wanted and they would have had all the ingredients to push a reunion. But Azoff had to try to be a bully instead, and set the reunion back years
The 2005 New York Times article said Axl wanted a triple CD. That could have given us the bike, red hand, and grenade covers all at once. In fact I wonder if the images originally were selected for a three-album track listing that we never got, which is why they seem disconnected from the songs.
We should have gotten three CDs. Had we, the ridiculousness of not getting anything since 2008 would be bearable.

All 623 of his albums are on sale for digital download in mp3 or FLAC for $239.
Six HUNDRED and twenty three. Click the “Full Digital Discography” button.
In an alternate universe these are GNR releases …
I am going to save up and throw the man some money. We all should. He deserves it more than Team Brazil.

It sounds like it cuts off right before the lyrics kick in.
He has to include them as written. They tie the whole thing together. Tragically and brilliantly.

Always thought this track from the locker leaks stood out as something a bit special that Axl might be able to craft into an epic - very Illusions sounding ...
Anyways, played around in my studio and added some other instruments to it - drums, bass and guitar - was fun...
Very rough and quick but check it out and let me know what you think!
Terrific stuff! Definitely shows what the song could become (Can they still use it?).

It's a bit sad, to be fair.
I can understand not posting on Reddit and that, but removing stories pertaining to new material is a bit over the top. It's overmanagement, and it put ls the band in a bad light, whereas the stories they are removing are positive.
And liked kicking people out of shows and listening parties, and no telling how many forums. It is sad. He was gifted a primo position while never paying his dues working his way up and learning through managing companies. It’s obvious he has no idea what he’s doing and it’s just so bushleague and mediocre.
Man, you nailed the entire TB problem right there. They got hired as Axl’s yes-men, not as mentors to help him remain true to his artistic visions WHILE functioning in the real world, or as negotiators — between GNR and business entities like promoters and record labels, between the band members, etc.
We never would have gotten Chinese Democracy if they had been in charge in 2008.

I think that "leak" was maybe around 2004/05. Very low sound quality, I ripped it off Youtube at 320kbps but as you can see the actual quality is far lower than that

This looks interesting. What is it showing you (I don’t know how to interpret the image) and how did you create it? What program?

This is another one of the fake leaks from back in the day. Does anyone know anything about the band who did it? because I can find nothing on them at all. If someone posted it back in the day as a fake leak then I assume the scream at 34 seconds in was added by them. It reminds me of the scream sample in Absurd a bit. Again kind of like that "Oh the humanity" clip this seems like somthing Brain would come up with.

Nothing showed up when I tried to identify it with the Shazam app.
The production sounds different from the storage locker leaks. Can’t put it into words but this just has a different feel.

We need to vote with our wallets. GNR is coming back on tour in North America soon and ticket sales are weak. No new music from them means I won’t be paying for a ticket. If enough of us do that — and appears to be the case — they may step up. Sure hope so.
