maybe it`s a misconception, but i wouldn`t call chinese democracy "a brandnew album" by any means... so i don`t think they`re talking about that one...

well it definitely seems a new album is on the way... but the same could be said about rock in rio 2001, so let`s not get all too fizzy about this. of course, a few new songs, even if they`re only playing them live would be nice!
@dublin i guess security is going to be quite heavy this year..

well, they won`t adapt their setlist, and it`s not the first metal festival they play in europe. they played the same festival in 2006 and it went off without a hitch from what i`ve heard. they also played gods of metal 2006 in milan and there was no problem. i think the british festivals are the hard ones, metal festival or not... those crowds are much more hostile, than any other european crowds it seems.

I'll bet more dates in Germany are coming.
well, it`s advertised as the only one... i`m still hoping for a late night special apppearance at rock am ring/rock im park, just like 2006, but that`s far fetched..

well, it`s the same proportion they do in the US, one show per ten million inhabitants... if those dates are arena dates, they will end up with the same average attendance, too. the question is, where are those 8 german dates? one rumoured concert in germany is ridiculous! and considering they skipped germany the last time around, even more so. in europe/germany people don`t do 7 hour road trips to go to a concert... it`s either in their neighbourhood (max. 3 hours) or they won`t go.
