Keith Richards fell off a palm tree and the very last two shows of the original itinerary to be canceled were the ones which Guns were supposed to open. Two very last. Serious case of bad luck.
Tommy Stinson fell off some stairs and the Japanese dates in '07 were postponed and the South African ones canceled altogether. The only funny thing was that there was already a blank spot in the Guns itinerary between ZA (early May) and Mexico (early June).
Of course, the official word is the one to go by. Right...?
Keith falling out that tree was big news in the UK and his recovery was mentioned in the press regularly, this wasnt some sweep under the carpet and forget about it stunt.

Mabye, I just find it hard to believe Axl would do that though, all I've heard is rumours. If it was on the table I think Slash or someone else associated would be straight to the press. I believe Axl would genuinally rather die than you know what

"There are suggestions that the Stones are planning major activity in 2010."
Mabye the economy would managed to incorporate The Stones and GNR more than a joint Van Halen tour? GNR were scheduled to play with RS before whatshisface fell oot that coconut tree....
