well, there are different types of cancellations

If its some legit reason due to illness or poor ticket sales in a market so the show is pulled.. i can see that.

Axl pulling a Philly though I don't foresee happening.

For that lawsuit to get settled.. There had to be some concessions.  Axl is an intelligent guy.. he would be blind to not realize US fans aren't gonna tolerate it anymore for the most part. So if he wants a career in the US, he has to repair some of his rep.

Anyone want some of this action?

I would almost guarantee the late starts won't happen on this US tour. Maybe 30 mins-60mins... but gone will be the 2 hour late thing.

I think certain conditions had to be met before a US tour was taken on by the promoters, one of the conditions had to have been the late starts.

So who wants this action?

I'll say no more than 2 late starts

Over or Under?

I am going UNDER

Late is over an hour.

I do home health physical therapy, so unfortunately I can't afford to take a day off............... But I am going anyway.. I make my own schedule so I'll just bump them back 2 hours each or so as many as i can on Friday.

I am sick of the chinese logo, the guns and skulls still looks so badass...  Even though it makes me think of the old band.

Slash drew original logo.. so I'd imagine Axl changed it cause Slash owned it.

I may go, wish they were playing at Center Stage... D, you know you pussied out on the Slash show last fall, will you pussy out this time too? HAHAHA.

I really wanted to go but had to work and didn't have time to get there.

With Axl's track record.. i should be able to make it in plenty of time LOL!

to amp up the convo....there are more guitar players that can do what Slash does than there are singers that can do what Axl does.

Millions of guitarist can play Slash's material but only a handful of guitarist in the history of music can write his level of riffs/solos

Huge difference in composing and covering

I know they haven't toured the US in quite awhile.  I know their last attempt didn't go so well.  There's nothing to indicate that either is going to change any time soon.

True, and who knows.  Maybe that's a major reason they haven't been able to set up a US tour as of yet, although I think the lawsuit with Azoff played into it a fair bit.  Maybe they are setting their sights too high to play arenas and larger venues and they're finding it hard to make it a profitable venture.  We really don't know at this point, all we can do is speculate.  Such is life as a GNR fan.  But until we see a US tour list or hear that the band is losing massive amounts of money on touring, it seems a bit premature to say they NEED to change their ways.  If they do in fact NEED to, they will.  They haven't yet, so I assume that means they're still floating with their heads above water.

Also with the state of the US economy right now, attendance numbers will probably be lower than before.  I don't think the concert industry is exactly booming at the moment.  Good timing has never been a strong suit of this band.  Release "Chinese Democracy" when record sales begin to hit an all time low.  Tour the US when the economy is in the shitter.  Nice!

Bon Jovi and U2 are having no problems
