Thats a good line up, I seen Marilyn Manson live when John 5 was still there, he was fucking great!
Good to see Teddy Zig Zag and Slash will be sparring one again 5

I dont find the bands inactivity and communication failures exciting, its all rather dull.

My biggest gripe though has always been, I found that "draft" artwork/booklet thing they sold us to be pretty fucking insulting, the vinyl I bought was not up to much either. In fact it sucked, the last songs on every side were unlistenable.
It soured my experience of the release more than anything else and it smacked of disrespect towards the fans. Nearly 6 months later we had to rely on fans transcribing the correct lyrics from RB2 to find out the correct versions.
It would have taken 5 minutes to add a lyric section to the official website but.....nah.
Why bend your will to please those that laugh in your face, plus only whiners and detracters would look at their website anyway 17

Couldnt GNREvo wangle an interview with Tommy or Chris and throw some questions about the music to them?
Fuck the politics, I wanna know more about Chinese Democracy. Those are the guys who have been there since the beginning and can talk about how songs came together.  I want to know more about Madagascar and The Blues particuarly and Bumblefoot, as pleasant and communicable a chap as he is, wasnt there.

I recognise that Kiss Me Deadly song now, just youtubed it.

Dunno the Ozzy one but she looks no bad in the video.

#2485 Re: Guns N' Roses » What did Axl consider to be "Big Guns" » 908 weeks ago

:)I've never got the love for Sorry, its so fucking mundane. I like some of the vocal melodies Axl does though, like the "nobody owes you..." part. Its old school Axl, completely underused on the album. I do love the variety of vocal styles on the album very much, I just wish that particular style had been used a couple more times, and not on those lame ass lines. For me now all those lines are is wank fodder for snooty GN'R forum dweebs to brainlessly quote, thinking their getting one up on someone they dont like.
I'll take Scraped over that song any day off the week smile

Were Superman 1 and 2 not more successful than that Dark Knight pish?

#2487 Re: GNRevolution Madness » GnREvolution Movie Madness - Round 1, Battle 16 » 908 weeks ago

Goodfellas.

This should make some folk happy, a violent flick winning against a good natured romp, who-da thought it?!

#2488 Re: Guns N' Roses » Bumble playing with Lita Ford » 908 weeks ago

I've never heard of Lita Ford in my life. The only Lita I've ever heard of was a slutty wrestler.

#2489 Re: The Garden » Grandma Tazed » 908 weeks ago

lol at you guys justifying it. It would take 2 fucking seconds to cuff her and throw her in the back of the cop car till she calmed down, what a fucking prick of a guy.

I agree with you that JP set a new bar in terms of effects. (I'd disagree with you about LOTR, I think The Matrix was the next movie to raise it, not LOTR). And yes, I was working at an Olive Garden back in 93 right next to a movie theater. We had like a 3 hour wait those few weeks, that movie sold out like gangbusters.

Oh I know things moved on after JP with other films, I missed seeing an undoubted landmark like The Matrix in the cinema though wink
