They experimented more at the beginning of the tour (TWAT, Yesterdays, Used to love her) and now seem more focused on what they know to work best.
Also, remember that it's really rare for somebody to see more than 2 concerts in the same tour. I saw the 2 in Vegas and got fairly different setlists but got no TWAT, that I absolutely adore.
Also on the uyi tours it was a different setlist only in 1991 and after it was basically the same for each leg but with different ordering. Keep in mind that the production was much much simpler back then and lighting, pyro and fireworks tend to make the setlist more rigid.

I think Axl, Duff and Slash may be alphabetically ordered, so egos don't collide. For the others I think you're spot on.

Hi Dex, thanks for the kick ass time in Vegas. Twice!
Couple of questions:
1) How did the reconciliation came along and why now?
2) Is new material on the horizon and is it left overs from 96 sessions or from Chinese Sessions? Also, are they gonna feature Slash and Duff on them?
3) If you have to choose: AC DC or Guns?

Doug Goldstein told in 98 that 85% of vocals were done. Many doubted him.

I don't know if the worst... I can think of at least 10 things that would be worst, from death to any member falling off the wagon...
Anyway... If GNR plans to release something, this could make the band more visible in the US (bigger market) and make the record viable from a biz pov.
They'll probably tour South America with GNR by the end of year/early next year, so this leaves September/November for a GNR european tour.

Didin't the same guy who leaked the reunion (Hard Rock manager or something) said that Axl would reunite then retire? Perhaps it's retiring from GNR. That would be kinda... disappointing.

You can almost feel the vocal chords breaking... Must be painful!
