The solo just stutters to an end, its like he ran out of ideas and didnt know how to wrap it up. I cant get into it, I find it utterly uninspiring. I dont mind the cheesy lyrics and I like the emotion of the guitarless mix, it seems more heartfelt and the songs flows so much better.

Of course they have more chance of selling the album online if its on the first page, rather than way down the listings.
I doubt it really is their best seller at this point in time.

I've just been editing my original post with any others that pop into my head.

I never bothered trying to get a ticket for the Scotland show, I'm not that keen on stadium concerts. I'm now thinking though that I wouldnt mind spending an afternoon in the sun, getting drunk and watching AC/DC. I'll have to pay well over the odds to get a ticket now though sad

Yeah, I'm up for a big tourney lumping all the films in against each other. You could have a few face-offs a day for the earlier rounds.

That would be cool as fuck!

I always wondered what happened to him.  I was in a club one night, very drunk, and they played White Wedding and Rebel Yell, me and my friends hadnt heard them in years and thought it was the best shit ever. We went to a party afterwards and were pissed off because they had no Billy Idol in their collection, so we stayed up all night drinking and staggered along to HMV at 9am to buy Billy Idol's Best Of album. We were so chuffed when we got it and blasted it out all morning.

I still have it and havnt played it, or had the urge to, since that drunken morning  14

How much help would they get from the label if the attitude is "the band, to a man, hates the record company with a passion"?

Mabye thats part of why there was talk of a joint tour with Van Halen, GN'R dont have much options to get out there on their own unless they fund it themselves.

I don't know the logistics.  I would think it's a shared expense(s).  Does anyone know how the Rock Band deal got done?  Was that through the label?  Because if it was, that's SOMETHING they did, right?

Axl was involved with that in some form, I remember the Rock Band folk talking about Axl trying the game out when they first got Shacklers Revenge.

I just noticed gunsnroses.com never bothered to update the site and mention the whole album is now available for Rock Band 2. That positive development just kind of slipped out under the radar.
