u know, i was thinking about this the other day and honestly, i can't blame the guy. how many of u here in all honesty, can say, that if u got a PM from Beta or Fernando or whomever inside the GNR camp inviting u to go on world tours on their dime etc,but all u had to do was be positive and not post any negative shit, wouldn't do it?
Go on tour and have the time of my life with my favorite band, see the world, go to killer parties, maybe have a giant orgy with hot ass groupies or look "cool" and keep my E-Rep in strong standing by not selling out my internet integrity to impress people i don't know or will never know in real life...
hmmmmm
i think im gonna go on tour with the band. Fuck Slash LOL!

Duff did indeed get hooked back on pills thanks to a dentist that prescribed them after a dental procedure. Duff talked about it in one of his Seattle weekly articles.

He had to retire from the back injury right as Attitude era was starting so he wasn't around during the boom therefore most fans who discovered it during that time frame never got a chance to see him.

Im late to the thread but the only thing i hate about HTGTH is all the groupies who think if they tow the company line they will somehow get invited backstage.
There are a few off hand that i hope they get to hang out with the band to make all their fakeness and bullshit worthwhile.
I don't mind the site. i am use to the new way its ran. I still support Axl and Slash, I keep it real and call them both out on bullshit.. sometimes it gets deleted but oh well.

Yes, I know John 5 played the Crazy Train solo at that gig; that's why I said "pretty much" confined him to rhythm work. A complete waste of the guy's talents, of course, but God forbid that anyone should be allowed to outshine Slash at his gig...
Slash also let Kushner play the odd solo on some of the covers at VR gigs, but 99.9% of the time, the spotlight stays on Slash. He's crafted an image for himself as the "guitar hero", the iconic member of the band, and part of that involves making sure that he dominates the stage and gets almost all of the solo spots, occasionally throwing his backing guitarist a bone here and there.
Compare that to Axl's GN'R, where there's more of a share and share alike approach among the three guitarists. Of course, that just means the naysayers crow about it "taking three people to fill Slash's shoes," which is patently bollocks.
Three? Shit we are up to about 10 and still hasn't come close

my point is,say they have2million streams.. i have no idea what the real number is.
say each person listened only once all the way through
14 divided by 2 million would be roughly 125k
thats just if its one listen each
so in reality probably 30k probably listened on myspace
so yeah u are probably right that myspace didn't hurt it that much.

yeah but u are assuming every person who listened on myspace bought the album and vice versa
Say they have 2 millon hits and sold 2 million albums
now lets say half of the people who bought it, never listened on myspace
that then is a million that didnt buy it but may have out of curiosity to hear it.
