Is it exactly what it looks like, a pair of glasses with a bunch of features your phone has built into them?

I have no idea what the time difference might be, and I doubt you'll be checking here from the festival, but just in case, Duff tweeted this about an hour ago:

Duff McKagan@DuffMcKagan

We will .be doing a signing today at 2:50pm @soundwavefest Melbourne. Stage time is 5;20pm See yall then!

Sorry I'm pretty ignorant apparently!

Maybe I should check it out.

What is the history of groups getting new singers and moving on?

I can think of RATM who did well as Audioslave by recruiting Cornell....

And of course VR.....

Oh and Ac/Dc

Do people ever do it with unknowns I wonder.

Van Halen is the other big one you're missing.

As far as people moving on with unknowns, quite a few bands have done it, but very few were very successful afterward.  Even if what they put out was really good (Motley Crue).

I think this kind of news is easy to slip through the cracks because they've broke up and got back together 3 or 4 other times.  I'll bet a lot of people didn't even know they were currently together.

Yeah I'm super looking forward to this.  They put something on Facebook that they're going to have a pre-order bundle for this and the new Fifth On The Floor album that comes out the same day(that Shooter produced).  I'm chomping at the bit and as soon as I see that it'll be ordered.  They'll join the Tossers and Jayke Orvis albums I already have pre-ordered.  It's gonna be a great Spring of new music for me.

Also have a ticket for Moonrunners Fest in Chicago that Shooter and Scott H. Biram are co-headlining along with a full day of other alt/underground country bands every one of which that I've heard I dig.  http://www.reggieslive.com/show/moonrun … -festival/  April 27 can't get here quick enough.

It was doing that to me for a while too.

I think what I did to change it is instead of logging in on the side column, click on the top where it says "forums" and there's a "log in" option as part of the drop down.  Doing it there instead keeps me logged in.

Great idea. Kind of strange that they didn't do this before the album's release. The problem is most of their albums I can get cheap on CD for $4. Also I own all the hits and a few songs from other eras. Wish they would include some posters or little bonus content. All in all, I find this a great way to get a Van Halen beginner into a true passionate fan of the band.

I disagree that's it's a great idea because of what you said, no bonus content, and you can get all these cds for $4-$5.  You wouldn't say to a beginner "Pick up this big box set", you'd say "spend 8 bucks on Van Halen I and 1984 so you have the big hits that you already know about, if you like the deep cuts enough pick up some others"

Complete money grab by the label who knows there are plenty of VH diehards out there who need to be completist and own this just because.

That's one thing you have to hand to McMahon, he was never afraid to push unknown talent.

Emphasis on was. Now he's terrified of actually following through on pushing new talent.

He never wanted to do it, he just didn't have a choice because Turner was poaching all his established stars.

I also read once that he actually hated the "Attitude Era" he just saw it starting to make money and went with it because they had to try something because WCW was killing him.  What he's been doing the last 10 years or so shows what he does when he doesn't have real competition.

Just watched it. JESUS H CHRIST. It's good.

Yep, that.

I downloaded it straight from the website.  Priced at $12.99, but using coupon code "Reddit" it takes it down to $10.

im not to worried about it tbh...its just weird....and whats even weirder is that i can pin point it to the exact time of day where it started...or where it seemed to start...just strange that all of a sudden its bad enough that i need glasses....one morning i was fine...that afternoon i was getting dizzy spells hmm

Stay aware of it...it's possible it could be something else causing it.

I didn't see this until now, and I don't want to scare the hell out of you Neemo, but I feel like I should point out that this seems very close to how symptoms of MS first manifested in a friend of mine.

Could easily be nothing more than getting older, but as Buzz said, be sure to stay aware of it.
