Reading these quotes about Axl's guitar work makes me think he wrote Oklahoma himself, which is why he talked about it springing from an experience he had yet seeming to be nothing more than an instrumental for quite some time.

I really hope Monstrosity is a real song (I know MSL mentioned it in his famous video). Sounds really interesting. In fact I think it would make a great album title.

Further theorizing or "insider" speculation now saying that Axl is demanding that the next release be a CD re-release, remastered with a CD2 EP without Slash or Duff. And the label are understandably none to keen on the idea.
This sounds unlikely on many levels least of all the fact we know Slash has done recording...
How I wish that were the case. But's it's almost certainly not.

Franks instagram seems to indicate he is in New York....
I guess his drum parts are all done or? Was kind of hoping they'd favour a more live on the floor approach for basic tracks but I guess with Digital Audio Workstations and click tracks its not as crucial ... Either that or we are getting more cut and paste...
Or there is no new music being recorded.

The reworked Better is an atrocity. Makes it sound like some lame mainstream rock radio single.
