The press release says Vegas will be the first shows.

If this is the case, I am definitely there.
I live in Vegas and loathe going to the strip.. but that is where the shows are.
Saw Motley's last Vegas show at MGM a few weeks ago. Soundgarden/NIN at Planet Hollywood back in summer of 2014.. and now - hopefully - GnR at the new Arena in 2016.

Axl's current voice would work well with songs like Double Talkin Jive and Bad Obsession.. I think Slash has been playing DTJ with Myles in recent years. Would make nice additions to the setlist.

Wasn't like we had much else to entertain us as GnR fans in those days.

IF they are playing CD songs like the blues, madagascar, and this I love, let Fortus take those solos.
I want to hear Slash's take on The Blues.
But I'm not opposed to Fortus having some solos too.. like Izzy used to anyway.
Whatever, I'm just glad we are going to have some GnR performances to look forward to.

No performance today can change the legacy.
I hope Axl is working to be at his best, but his best in recent years, while not what he was in the 90s, is still pretty damn good.

I'd love for the historically accurate "Classic GNR" to tour, i.e. Matt & Stephen sharing duties.
Matt can play guitar and piano, he could look at doing lots of other shit while Stephen is on.
Touring with 2 drummers isn't realistic tho.
That's another reason they ought to just keep Frank, so the Steven vs Matt stuff can be put to rest.
