I'm doing great. I had a few stressful moments over the weekend, but otherwise I feel like a superhero.
Already lost a bunch of weight, and have a ton of energy.
Feel a lot calmer, more patient.
My eyes look bigger from my face not being so puffy.
Anyway, I can't believe I din't do this years ago, but ... oh well.

Still no urge to booze but I punched myself in the face a couple of times today and have 2 black eyes now.

It's not in my nature to post personal stuff on these boards - I tend to stick to the GN'R stuff, but I have been sober for one week today and I thought I'd share.
Drank nearly everyday for 24 years straight and finally had enough last weekend.
First week was a breeze - almost too easy.
Today (Day 7) I am in a blind rage - but still no urge to drink.
