Finding Newgnr.com in 2006. Sladdi had video clips hosted there of live stuff from that era that I think blew my mind. I already knew Riad and Silkworms from lurking years before at various sites. GNRsucks may have been one, anyway finding Newgnr is what sent me down the rabbit hole proper.
Finding out about the IRS Eddie Trunk thing and hearing that tape rip later felt like a big deal. So did all of the earliest leaks. Getting the full version of Better and not just trade clips felt like a big deal too, probably got more exited for that than I was for the locker leaks tbf.

For all the band & management mess ups they for sure have got better slowing down leaks. Song wise there's been nothing major of note since 2019. Wonder if they looked into who else may have storage lockers out there.
Either leaks or actual concrete album info would be the only thing to make people return to the boards long term i think.
Surprised people aren't really trying to fake shit with AI yet as trade bait.

He was like some exited puppy (that had been dropped possibly on the head). Used to loose his mind at the slightest hint of a lead of a song. I once sent him a clip of Silkworms about 12 years back just to see how he reacted. I think he broke the exclamation mark key responding, wish i still had those PM's they were funny as fuck..

From CD.com? I think he was also Card5777 in a few place's. No idea what happened to him. There's a thread going on over there where Rick and Levi are there and everyone is talking about MSL, it's like the forum has turned into 2013 for a day. Next they will be bringing up Losthighway and Hittman.

I don't believe for a second that The General and Soul Monster have been combined. I believe the word monster is in the lyrics of the song along with the word monstrous. but we will see soon.
