The only time he had anything to say is when he was hungry. I don’t fault him at all when he decided to shut down for what amounts to personal reasons after he solidified his legacy. The locker tapes alone have way more than 3-4 quality songs. I think we got the 2 worst of the bunch…..incredibly frustrating. Listen to D Tune, Circus Maximus, Me & My Elvis, Tonto Oklahoma etc….those songs are way more interesting than Silk and Hard. No way in hell there aren’t vocals on those.

In the end, a wise move to disengage. Stuff like that is probably why he doesn’t say shit anymore. Sing your songs, collect your cash, and go drink a glass of red wine with your top shelf steak of choice!

Tommy wanted the album out in early 2000’s….Zutuat and even Axl by most accounts. As soon as Bucket finished his stuff on the core tracks, it should have been released. It didn’t need the Bucket Brain tracks or even Better. The ones we have those locker full vocals on are the album.
