The Cult opens in New Orleans...not a big surprise.  Decent I guess, but not really a fan...I know one song...probably means I hang at the hotel a little longer.  My dreams of the Skid Row reunion happening for this tour shattered...

They have a few classic rock radio staples. Fire Woman, She Sells Sanctuary, Love Removal Machine. Not a huge fan, but I do like those 3 at least.

I don't even know who that is. 14 God I'm getting old and out of the pop culture loop completely.

He's a country/rock guy. Broke out in the mainstream this year. Believe he was on SNL this season, and performed at one of the awards shows. Assuming he's big in Tennessee. I'm not into country one bit, but if forced I'd probably lean his way. Here's a tribute he did for Prince.

Pisses me off seeing neutered Slash and then see Axl having fucking press conferences talking about GNR. HE SHOULD HAVE TALKED ABOUT GNR WITH GNR. That little fucker... His stupidity is so infuriating sometimes!  It was my dream to see Slash back in GNR. Saw them twice, but if no music is coming I prefer him not be involved anymore and allow Axl to become a nobody again. Axl is ONLY huge again right now because Slash came back and that parlayed into Axl/DC.

Who says he didn't talk to GNR about GNR? And I wouldn't call that Q&A a press conference. If it weren't for the secret taping from the audience member, we probably wouldn't have heard much about this if at all. Let's not act like Axl is holding Slash down now. Once the tour kicks off they'll be back in the spotlight. Slash makes Axl bigger and better just like Axl does for Slash, lets be fair. It works both ways.

That was disturbing to say the least. Amazes me to think those people actually believe what they're doing is right. I'm all for free speech, but they're doing nothing to improve their images through their actions.

8 o'clock is not night time. Unless you're like faldor & started drinking at 9am..

That's a long day. I'm usually not up early enough to start drinking at 9. I had a roommate that would wake up hungover and continue on to fight through it the next morning. He'd pass out in the early afternoon and a couple of times he'd wake up at 6pm, thinking it was 6am. He'd hop in the shower to get ready for work. I'd wait until he was all freshened up to let him know he had another 12 hours to kill. Good times!

I don't watch The Voice so I don't know of her, but that's just awful. Too many sick and twisted individuals out there.

Dave Kushner was formerly in Guns N' Roses? I think they took that rumor a little too seriously.

Slash's popularity has plummeted since returning to GNR while Axl's has gone through the roof.

I wonder why Slash's popularity has taken a nose dive? You'd think the reunion would spike interest in both of them.

I'm surprised at how little interest there is in the rest of the band. People aren't any more interested in Duff than they are Adler? Actually they're *less* interested -- at least Adler got those little spikes when he appeared on rehab reality shows.

Well Slash isn't out there doing press and making appearances like  he normally did when he was on his own. It was necessary to keep himself in the spotlight and he did a great job of it. But he's been pretty silent since the reunion, and obviously Axl has been more active than ever of late.

Yeah, but most of the shows aren't scheduled to start until 7 or 8. That's the printed time on the ticket, so you know that going in. You also know there's an opening act, so obviously Guns isn't going to start by 7 or 8. So I think the earliest you could expect them on is probably 90 minutes after the scheduled start time, and let's be honest, that's probably reaching a bit. We'll have to wait to see how the first few stadium shows go and then we'll have a better idea. Bottom line is though, you know enough ahead of time to decide if it fits into your schedule. If it's too late, I'd suggest not buying a ticket, or sucking it up for one night and making any necessary adjustments. If that's not possible however, I probably wouldn't go because it would take away from your enjoyment.
