I disagree with you guys on TWAT. I think Prostitute is a far more appropriate album ender. It's light, but smooth, and very very good. Anti-climatic? Yes, but only if you're some AFD nutswinger.
Even Estranged didn't close UYI II.
Yes that would be the classic turd sandwich "My World."

What's funny is that he's hands down the best part of it. John Cain and Neil Schon's playing and production is horrific and ofcourse Dean Castronova is NO Steve Smith on the drums.
But Arnel's signing on the disc is worth listening to if you can get past the rest.
On the subject of Best Buy... I was told today that the AFD vinyl has been pushed back to Dec 9 for all who care.
I downloaded it. You are right. He is amazing (just like the YouTube videos I have seen of him) but the rest of it is pretty much shit. The production values are awful.

Yeah I was going to mention this. The first single is usually something that's towards the front of an album -- not always, but usually. Well, CD has a long intro and Shackler's has already been released with a video game.

I'm the one who said Friday, if I can just go ahead and call myself out. That's what I was told by a very reliable source when all of this was starting to snowball. I shared it here. I didn't intend to start a rumor and I do not believe I have a track record of being deceptive or misleading or making false, wild predictions. I confirmed the Body of Lies song as being legit way before anyone cared to pay enough attention. I don't come out with these things too often, but when I do, give me the benefit of the doubt and please listen. I have legitimate connections both within the media and industry itself. Again, I was told that Axl Rose was preparing his own "press release" for Friday. Whether or not he delivers on Friday is up to Axl, I guess. I still stand behind it.
Well hopefully it comes true. I appreciate you giving us a heads up on it.

Arnel comes Damn close though. Steve's voice has a bit more "depth" that i guess comes with age, because i now find that in Axl's where i didn't see it before.
Arnel sounds more like the classic Steve Perry than the current Steve Perry sounds like the classic Steve Perry. Not shocking though.

Well that should fucking settle it then. Seriously, I don't see how anyone could get the lyrics that Neemo got out of it. There's clearly a "prost" sound in there. I just listened to it cranked way the hell up and it's obvious.
I can somewhat hear the "prost" part, it's the "itute" I have trouble making out.
Well, to me it sounds like "Prostitue" without the last "t." Kinda like that setlist picture that was posted at GNR.com a couple years ago. He definitely makes a "tuuuuu" sound, but doesn't articulate the final "t."
