As usual, Knockin on Heavens Door will be used to tribute the ones who've passed.

He is really pro Slash but he sounded bitter about him. A different point of view from what I've been seeing on forums. Like "if you're going to go Axl's way, why now and not 20 years ago?"
I found that amusing.
I don't think either of them won. Both of their careers could have been so much better had everything not went to shit in 94.
this.

Sorry but isn't that just semantics? I fail to see the difference at this stage or the relevance.
Axl owns the name and has for 20 years, that's never going to change. Slash, Duff et al recording/touring with Axl as GNR is a reunion.
Reunion would be reuniting the afd or uyi line up. They'd be joining the current/Latest/last line up. If they're moving forward with Axl's album, I'd call it rejoining the band, but you know, whatever people see it as. Money is in marketing a reunion. It will be seen as a reunion.
Had lunch with a fellow Guns fan friend who isn't following all the hype. Told him about the hybrid model and we discussed the possibility of Slash working on Chinese leftovers.

I might join you guys. All the way from Brazil. A US trip is already planned so I'd just have to adjust dates.

I've said it again and now that it's imminent I won't change my opinion.
A reunion makes me lose much of the respect I have for Axl. Especially now. It seems the worse (1998~CD RELEASE) has passed so it's even worse on my book to do it now.
Just a bunch of old men cashing in retirement plans.
I get all the excitement around it and I'll probably try to get to one concert, but just for the nostalgia act.
