I hope most of you took my predicted line up as the joke I intended it to be. Some of you took it not only a little too seriously, but started adding serious weight to a line up argument. That's just silly.
There is going to be a reunion. Fact. There's a reason the Guns camp is bumfucked as to how to promote Shackler's or this "impending" release of Chinese Democracy. I agree that the reunion is what'll ultimately see any form of release for Chinese Democracy. I also believe there are more clues to be found in the various VR tidbits that come out now and again, if only anyone ever visited that part of the forum. A lot of what's been going on with those guys is a smokescreen/safety net. The reason a new singer hasn't been announced is because they're hoping they won't need one. Mark my words.
LOL, a new singer that kicks the hell out of all the other singers they could potentially come up with (well, with the exception of someone like Cornell for instance). I hope it happens. I'd make damn sure to go to a concert, assuming they actually came to Texas under that scenario.

The upcoming debate is crucial. Could possibly sink either candidate depending on what gets said. I would not be surprised if the ratings for this debate break records. This thing is coming down to the wire. Plus, the whole word is holding its breath regarding our economic crisis so all eyes are gonna be on these guys.
I smell an "October surprise" no matter what. Might be whitey, might be war, or might be something else.

Wow! Talk about getting off subject! With the direction this thread has taken it only proves my points. NOBODY deep down believes CD is coming out this year. And second CD ain't coming out this year. What I'm waiting for now is what lameass excuse Axl will use this time. Now that could be very entertaining.
Well, we may be fans but we're not stupid enough to keep falling for the same shit every year. Most of us (on this forum) take the "I'll believe it when I see it on the store shelves" approach.

Sorum should be out of the picture. That asshole rode Axl's success and then trashed the hell out of him as if he was in any position to be whining. Hey dipshit, you just made a shit ton of money off this guy's enormous success WHICH CAME BEFORE YOU SHOWED UP in GN'R, and then you turn around talking shit about him like you were there all along. Axl is an asshole, there is no doubt about it. But the last person I want to hear complaining about it is Matt Sorum, a dipshit who rode the gravy train and made a fuckload of money off of Axl.

I just don't see it happening. No way in hell will Slash let people like Frank and Pitman reap massive rewards in a semi reunion. Tommy I can imagine possibly being involved in that scenario, but unlikely. You have Duff on board and Tommy becomes meaningless(no offense to Stinson fans).
If Slash, Duff, and Axl reunite, it's not a "semi-reunion" to me. It's 3 of the 4 most important members of the band. 2 out of 4 doesn't count. Like when half of the Who claim they're the Who. They've got 2 out of 4. Zeppelin's reunion show with 3 out of 4 counts for instance. Izzy was really important to the band, but no more important than Bonham was to Zeppelin. Adler and Sorum, meanwhile, are has-beens.

Actually they do. You can download new albums at iTunes and Amazon as soon as it hits midnight in your area, at least this is the experience I've had. I'm sure for some albums and movies they don't do that, but for the big ones I'm pretty sure they do.

Ugh, I really hope Axl has no more control over when the album comes out. If not, a couple more of these reviews and we can forget about the album altogether...
That being said, the last paragraph really hits the nail on the head.
Who cares? I've got 11 studio-quality tracks allegedly from this album already on my computer and iPod. Even if he tries to abort the album's release, it's already been 90% leaked in the first place.
As for Shackler's, I think it's a good song. The worst song so far is "If The World" in my opinion. Way too repetitive despite having some pretty good guitar work and vocals.
