I have never observed DJ being a douche, maybe somewhat childish for a 38 year old, but he's in GNR, not Paul McCartneys band. It's alright. He got what it takes. He's not washed up, he's not 2nd rate. He's DJ Ashba and got more album success the past 20 years than Tommy and Ron combined.
With Slash out, like Axlin says, DJ is the best choice there is.
DJ is washe up,childish and tard as fuck a man can be an EMO Slash wannabe bad ass...if you can t see that, the guy can t do no wrong on your eyes never.
The true is average guittar player nothing more.

I disagree with the DJ stage presence thing, 4tus has more tham him and Finck has more tham the two together.

DJ only emulates Slash image he is like an EMO SLASH not original and boring.
His solo spot at Rio was so cheese and.......eh.
The line up with Finck blows this line up any day any time by far..
Cudos to Ron the guy does a great job!

DJ can put GNR back on the charts and back into being relevant.
Drives me nuts sometimes with his try too hard douchery.. but he is a thousand times better than Robin.. So I am good with him.
DJ is an average hard rock guittar player nothing more, on the other hand Finck is an unique artist you can t find many players like him.
Saw the two line ups live DJ is an downgrade with Finck was much better.:)
